  1. QUOTE (cws0591 @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 08:18 PM) whats the deal with Thornton??? someone needs to tell him a closer needs to use more than just his fastball.... he's not a closer, that's his problem.
  2. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 07:06 PM) A K for Upton would be sweet. Lord knows he does it enough.
  3. danksy looks more pissed about that walk than me, and that's saying something
  4. QUOTE (lostfan @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 06:52 PM) boom goes the dynamite. hey...
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 06:46 PM) There we go!! Time for an insurance run with a solo homer.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 06:42 PM) Jeez Konerko, pick the ball up! This isn't going good at all. aw c'mon, it was worth the gamble
  7. this is like old times, back when the Devil Rays sucked it.
  8. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 05:41 PM) Why did Peavy only pitch one inning? He's already been pulled. He's been traded. More to come.
  9. QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 05:32 PM) lol, I just rewound it, holy crap glad I'm not the only one who saw that!
  10. Anyone watching the man make his move? I'm not a fan of his personal life, but it's nice to see him back in the mix. Plus this tourney has a ton of young talent making its mark. Should be a good weekend.
  11. Hate to see him go out like this. He should be remembered as one of the best RH hitters of all time, not this.
  12. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 10:11 AM) Peavy. Jake gets to pitch in his home state. Nice.
  13. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 8, 2011 -> 09:50 AM) People need to look at Lillibridge's minor league numbers. He's a terrible offensive player period. He'll probably hit around .200 - .230 at the major league level. He doesn't provide plus defense at any position either. He only offers speed and versatility. The problem is with a four man bench, he'll sneak into the lineup far too often. He will start costing us games. In a sport where every regular season game matters, small moves like these add up and can make the difference between making the playoffs and not. ever notice that his bat is way too big for him?
  14. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 05:40 PM) At least the Nick Swisher trade paid off for something.... Too early? there's such a difference between baseball in Japan and the U.S. Remember how Iguchi had to learn that?
  15. slides into 2nd strike the twins again. That's a shame, I was actually looking forward to watching this guy play. Hope he heals soon.
