I still like the fact that they brought the tying run to the plate. Too bad Brian was trying to tie it with one swing instead of just trying for solid contact. Still, they played like s*** (which all teams do) and still had a chance to win.

Minny has the easiest schedule by far in April -- someone else pointed out before the season even started that they would likely jump out to a lead. Sox have played more division games than anyone.

Kong's the reason Thome's walking so much -- who wouldn't want to pitch to him right now? That run left on 3rd in the 9th came back to haunt them, simple as that. Thames turned on a high inside fastball, not an easy pitch to hit out. I tip my hat to him. But that should have brought them within one run, plain and simple. Chins up, we took 2 of 3 and made them do something dramatic to avoid a sweep. We own the tigers and they know it.
