While I do think they'll fade, I give Leyland a ton of credit for their impressive play.

He is on the payroll and therefore you can be sure they will push it as far as it can go, hopefully to the cell, but his progress might break down before then.

I think the Sox have a tremendous defensive team. They do a great job of hitting the cut-off man and there's no telling how many doubles Crede has robbed this year. Errors however do seem to take a toll. The Sox are: 16-6 in games they've commited NO errors (one loss was Haegermageddon) 9-7 in games they've commited at least one error. In 4 of those 9 wins, the opponent committed mult. E's 2-3 in games in which they've committed mult. E's. In one of the two wins, the opponent made mult. E's too. Compared to teams in the central, fldg. pct and errors: MIN .990 14 SOX .984 23 DET .984 23 CLE .979 30 KC who cares?
