Maybe it's just me, but this reads like bad journalism from the sun-times. They frame the story as if KW's pissed/frustrated/impatient, but I see nothing in his quote to suggest he's pissed off. Zip. And Buehrle's already made it clear he was just goofing around. Furthermore, KW says Mark embodies everything the Sox are trying to be about. this is a non-story and a bad case of misleading the reader.

I know it's been said many times, but my hat's off to Don Cooper. What he's done with the likes of Jose Contreras is simply astounding. Mel Stottlemyre couldn't come close to tapping this guy's talent but Coop has helped him become one of the most dominant pitchers in the league. He looked good the last week in ST when he started getting some AB's, although a lot of that came from minor league pitchers. I think he'll snap out of it in Detroit. Slumps hit players at different times. He's putting wood on the ball, relax. He's not lost up there.
