  1. So the answers to our season are Alomar and MacDougal. It is going to be a long August and September.
  2. That could have been a DP if the infield was at normal depth, but oh well
  3. We are in BIG TROUBLE - Winning run on third with one out
  4. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Jul 30, 2006 -> 03:37 PM) A k here is necessary Or a 4-6-3 DP
  5. QUOTE(AWhiteSoxinNJ @ Jul 30, 2006 -> 03:29 PM) So I guess the Brewers are holding Clark back then? I'd rather see Mack play everyday the Clark. I was going to stay out of this, but I would much rather have Clark starting over Mack. I love Mack, but his main value is coming off the bench.
  6. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Jul 30, 2006 -> 03:21 PM) Juan better get the freaking bunt down here, he's been BUTT useless lately Bunt? Whats a bunt?
  7. I would still like to see Pods pick it up. When he get on base our win/loss record is awsome. The problem is that he has been so inconsistent this year. I do not remember him being that bad in the field last year.
  8. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 30, 2006 -> 03:15 PM) How our outfield defense is setup now is how it should be at the start of the game. Unless of course we get B. Clark. And then he goes into LF. I agree
  9. I think that Dye would have to be KW best move to date. What he has been doing the last two years at that price is unbelievable. He is the silent leader.
  10. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Jul 30, 2006 -> 03:00 PM) Actually, now that i think about it, Pods would have gotten the count to 3-2 before he was caught looking. Gotta give him that at least Good Point
  11. Just A Few Question Would this game be different if Zito pitched or Soriano was in Left Field? How about B. Clark in left, Brian in Center, and Brandon pitching? My point is that this team can get better and should get better. I am not asking for a huge trade, but this is not working. I realize we took the first two games, but they do not look the same as the Tigers, Twins, or Yankees.
  12. That was a great at bat Ozuna - Pods could have done that.
  13. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 30, 2006 -> 02:51 PM) How many Halloween movies do you need to see to know when you hear the music that the bad guy is really under the bed with the butcher knife. Vazquez > 5 innings = Halloween Blood bath Obviously Ozzie has never seen Halloween
  14. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 30, 2006 -> 02:48 PM) Who agrees that Vazquez affects the play of the entire team with his crappy pitching? I see the same thing. They just seem flat - Oh God how I miss last years team
  15. Have we reached the point where Javy has to come out of the rotation? Can you have a guy that makes that much money in your pen. Every time this guy pitches he does two things: 1. Kills the pen 2. Never gives the team a chance to win His last 3 or 4 starts has just killed his value. Who would want this guy right now? I want Brandon in the rotation, but I do not see Javy going to the pen.
  16. Zito who? If the White Sox do indeed stand pat it will be a shot to the gut. The Yankees just got better and it looks like the Twins will make a move as well. We still have a chance to sweep, but we do not look good. I mean come on Chen pitched today. They are making thigs look so difficult.
