Apperently The ghost of Wayne Tolleson is having his monthly visitor, An example of how someone could loose his confidence and not get it back for a long time is Garland. This season when he had a bad outing he immediately looked towards the dugout like he was going to give up. But, Ozzie left him in their to work it out. Slowly Garland has gain his confidence back. Just the other day Garland was even quoted as telling Ozzie that no matter what "Leave me in to eat innings for our bullpen." Cotts is great but I don't want to wait till next season to have his confidence up again. If you don't think one bad outing can have a negative affect for ever look at Rick Ankiel, superstar to be. I thiink that anyone thinking Cotts should be switched as a starter is a fool. Yes his era is good and yes he has shown great stuff, but that's as a reliever. Some people are great relievers and some are great starters. Cotts is doing great outa the bull, so why fix something that isn't broken. The Sox might break him without even realizing they are doing it if he is placed as #5. If you put him out and he gets shelled in his first outing, he will doubt himself for a long time. In the reliever position he has nothing but confidence. If they want to make him a starter, I say work on his stamina till next season or need be later this season, but not now. Platton Diaz, Rauch, or Adkins till one fits or Cotts is the emergency backup. Its 162 games not a sprint. We still have some time to find out. P.S. The trade deadline hasn't ended yet Joe Jackson is the greatest!

Cal was and is great. He proves that heart, hard work, and confidence can make up for any set back. If only some natural athletes had his work ethic we would be better off now.

I to have doubts. I know Koch was great last year but Foulke was great two years ago ranked number two after the bar of comparison in Rivera. I think Foulke still has it & he justed needed a time to work it out. Koch has proved to be a great closer but I still had loyalty to Foulke because he loved this team and city. Koch does have the South Side attitude though of not taking any s*** and if someone questions him he gives the South Side Answer to all questions :fyou

I really think this could be our year or next when the chemistry clicks. I think Frank can have a great year because he has something to prove to everyone, is playing for his livelyhood, and is working with his old hitting coach. But, do we sacrifice the locker room for his maybe numbers. You all have to admit he was and may still be great but a dicontented team cannot go all the way. Do we risk it and hope things get better. Paully wanted to move on, so did Manuel, but Frank just won't let go. I know he did a lot in the past, but that was the past. Do we sacrifice a much talented team's chances of winning to stay loyal to someone who only has loyalty to himself, as he has proven. Even Jose questioned his team ethics. I hope Rauch is the 5th starter. If he gets time in at the MLB level he can be great. They might send him down I think for more innings

I think Thomas problem is that he is swinging for the fences and not for the better of the team by getting on base. Kind of like the most over rated catcher Piazza who swings for the record of most hr by a catcher instead of playing text book baseball for the better of the team

We have come to the point where our flag represents the corporations more than the people. When was the last time our government did anything for the common man and not for the ALMIGHTY DOLLAR. Almost every war we ever fought has been about money. Here are some examples Revolutionary War= No taxes for businesses Civil War=States wanted to control taxition not government (It was not about slavery) Korea & Vietnam=Corporations did not want to lose their holdings in manufacturing or hotel real estate Desert Storm=We actually authorized Iraq to attack Kuwait because Kuwait was renigging on their debt to Iraq. We later rescinded this after the world disagreed with the invasion. Now we have a treaty with Kuwait that have to sell barrels of crude oil to our oil companies at $4 a barrel when market value is $34 Doesn't this sound like legal theivery?
