QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Feb 19, 2007 -> 09:03 AM) why is everyone worried about free-agency for next year? Why dont we play baseball this year and worry about that stuff next winter. thumbs up to that everything will work itself out. the way i see it is that KW is just putting it out there for everyone that in reality some of these players are indeed going to be leaving, but some won't. hes just taking a different strategy that other GM's at saying this, and his other strategies have worked in the past...

is it still going to be where WCIU is completely unavailable if you aren't in chicago. i remember last season when I moved down to champaign for school WCIU was blacked out on TV and MLB.tv i was pissed. and now im more pissed.

Joe Mauer gets a 4 year deal from twins. terms of deal not available
-
pretty sure hes a mod to answer your question. quite the temper from people these days. anyways i dont mind paying the extra couple bucks. the parking though is getting ridiculous. it seems to me if you want to get a cheap baseball experience you have to go see the brewers. i went up there with my family last season. paid $6 for parking (which was amazing) and got scapled lower bowl tickets for BELOW face value (even more amazing). anddddddddd i got a overbay bobble head but he got traded..

dont we get a draft pick out of this or something
-
So.. how do we get Arod to agree to this.
-
this is probably where it started going downhill "Highlights of his rookie year included an impressive 166 innings pitched, 3 complete games, a 2.77 ERA, and a no-hitter. In that game, a walk and an error led to an unearned run, and a 1-0 loss for Floyd. " ouch
-
And how does this deal change ARods mind? he is the one that can say no
-
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2686441 jigga what? zito and schmidt are gonna be swimming in cash because of deals like this.. contreras and garland were such steals
-
No. Just please no.
-
"- 20 million per year won't be payed to him per year to pitch, so that's false." yea but 20 mil per year is being paid FOR him to pitch, so whats the difference?
-
what are you talking about? its 51.1 its been released..
-
oh well then i guess that makes sense. i remember him getting off to a very good start much like garland did two years ago. i think webb went 8-0? 9-0? not too shabby first half
-
I thought carpenter would get it going 3-1 in the postseason but oh well. My favorite was all the cubs fans thinking zambrano was going to get it with the cubs in last place http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article...sp&c_id=mlb
-
They just said this on sportscenter, said something like he had 3 years ~30? mil left and he wants more? uhhhhhhh http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2655862 this is the story
-
what was that quote from thedugout? "if i weren't totally half assing it this year.." unless this is like photoshopped (or its some guy who really looks like him) i can't see how its not true.. damn trade him now to STL i'd say
-
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2244420 market this year is crazy. thank you for making the yankees worse though.
-
http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/press_r...t=.jsp&c_id=oak ugh. we can't beat the A's anyways normally and now this. if only he could have stayed in the NL
-
