  1. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 07:33 PM) Okay... He still has a slugging percentage that's what, .130 points higher then Podsednik's, and an OBP that's just .008 points less. Plus Sizemore is the better defender. Let's just put it this way, Sizemore is a superstar to be and Pods will never be in the same ballpark as him. Pods is a very good leadoff man, but lets not get crazy and try to compare him to an obviously better player.
  2. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 07:19 PM) I can't believe DJ just said the following "Scott wears rubbers so he can get a better dig in the dirt!" :headshake :uhoh
  3. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 07:01 PM) Juanny is 32-44!?!?!? WOW! Just wow. That is just ridiculous. Keep it up Juan!!
  4. QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 06:54 PM) Dont you love it when you watch a Sox game, then the Sox score comes up on the ticker??? Ridiculous, I tell you Monkeys run Comcast Sports!!! LMAO...yea and usually the scores are a couple of innings behind too.
  5. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 06:50 PM) How important is Cora not sending Crede home now? Very...if it were Pauly im not sure he wouldn't have sent him.
  6. GOOOOOOOOCH!!! Whoa...3 good swings in 1 inning? I like playing versus Kansas City!!
  7. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 11:08 PM) and a drop down slider to Konerko
  8. He leaves El Puque in too long...but then takes Count out after 2 k's? Don't really get it but then again I don't manage a major league team.
  9. QUOTE(Hermanson32 @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 10:05 PM) So you see DJ spent all that time bragging about how good Berroa is at defense. Then, he fields a ball terribly and throws it in to the stands allowing Uribe to score with 2 outs. The 2 out runs continue. I do love to see that, even if they are coming with errors. The errors have helped...but there have been more hard hit balls today then the whole series versus the Angels. Good to see.
  10. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 10:06 PM) LOL...where you getting the hand?
  11. Well...DJ can't like that play from Berroa....5-1!!!!
  12. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 09:51 PM) Aaron got the memo, he hit the ball the opposite way. Everett scores. We now have this many runs. LOL...I never knew watching the Sox could be so educational.
  13. Angel throwing some leather. Both of those could have been hits.
  14. QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 09:34 PM) I for one feel BAD for Buddy Bell!!! He is a class act!!! He really is a class act. His teams always play hard and the right way. If I remember correctly didn't he manage some talentless Colorado and Detroit teams? He always seems to make his teams play above their talent...imagine if he could manage a team with some talent.
  15. QUOTE(JDsDirtySox @ Sep 12, 2005 -> 08:34 PM) oh... by the way... the Sox record vs. the teams left on our schedule. vs. Cleveland: 10-3 vs. Detroit: 12-3 vs. KC: 12-3 vs. Minny: 6-5 Finish It. I go next Monday, Tuesday and Friday!!!! LETS DO IT!!

    QUOTE(tony72 @ Sep 12, 2005 -> 08:09 PM) Yes - A bad weekend.. Yes a lead down to 5.5.. BUT.. Still the best record in the AL by 4 games! Still will be in the playoffs ! Even if Indians remain hot..we still get wild card (Who wouldn't have grabbed wild card in March?) Broke 2 million for first time in a decade (more money for team)... Many teams have played badly in Aug/Sep and played GREAT in the playoffs.. Beautiful ballpark and only getting better !! Neighborhood will be a blast in a few years as it changes.!! Still a great season no matter how it ends..!! GO SOX!! Optimism!!!! YES!!!!! Neighborhood will be a blast in a few years as it changes.!! ^^^^^ Can't wait for this too...don't want Wrigleyville....just a couple of more bars.
  17. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Sep 12, 2005 -> 09:21 PM) I like the idea of Torborg. Me too...or Stoney..even though that is a long shot.
  18. Oh please no North...I would rather shoot myself then listen to him and Ed in the booth every game.
  19. QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ Sep 12, 2005 -> 08:29 PM) seven in the loss column against Cleveland and the Yankees? Surely we can hold off one of the freakin two. Yea seven in the loss column for both...we will hold both of them off!!!! Go Sox and whoever plays the Indians!! Oh and wrong forum but Michael Vick is a sick athlete.
  20. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Sep 11, 2005 -> 12:39 PM) I agree. By the time he's in the game, it'll be out of reach anyway. Ozzie's almost expecting El Puque to fail. As am I. :banghead :banghead
  21. I'm glad that someone finally told dick stockton that it is MARK Brunell not Scott Brunell. He called him Scott the whole first half. Both him and Moose have been brutal...switching to the home radio call now.
  22. Not that I mind...but I think Colon is getting squeezed a little here. Zone seemed to shrink this inning.
  23. You guys are right...Hudler is brutal, almost as bad as...UH-OH!!!
