QUOTE(RME JICO @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 02:58 AM) I would bring Sweeney or Owens up and give them a shot, especially if Pods is going to be out for awhile. thats what i would do
-
QUOTE(kevo880 @ Apr 6, 2006 -> 08:19 PM) IMO I really think Garcia is an overrated pitcher. I'm not going to knock him and say he's not good, but he's not an elite pitcher anymore and is definitely not the second best pitcher on this very talented staff. I agree with this but u know hes not going anywhere since hes so close to Ozzie

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Apr 6, 2006 -> 04:49 PM) It makes absolutely no difference after the first week. so in ur opinion who would u pick as the best 3 pitchers we have?
-
Would u guys keep the same rotation or would u rather have a diff. no.1, no.2,no.3 etc..
-
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 07:09 PM) Some players are just born with a noodle hanging from their right or left shoulder. Just because you're a good athlete doesn't mean you can throw a ball far and hard. i can see why they would send him back to the minors but i woulda liked to see him used as a sub u know
-
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 07:04 PM) I hear he makes Podsednik's arm look like prime Larry Walker's. he cant be that bad lol ive thrown balls in the outfield before and i mangaged to reach it between the second base and the pitchers mound if i can do it why cant a major leaguer?
-
QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 04:40 PM) How about a new question. Who will have more starts Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Bmac? lets just say Bmac will have more wins than combine starts from wood and prior
-
Ive only been 2 one of his games but the ball was never hit to him how bad is his arm
-
QUOTE(Soxpranos @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 05:50 PM) Yeah, not to mention his long time pitching tutor was caught selling roids. Exactly, why do u think he cant seem to get healthy, him and wood except for that line drive the the arm/shoulder that was pretty bad
-
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 08:56 AM) I'm glad Gooch ended up back in the 2 spot. Same here i like Uribe just dont trust him in the second spot
-
QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 04:56 PM) lets sign buerhle through 2015. that would be awesome doubt he'd want 2 tho he'll prolly want to go to the cardinals
-
QUOTE(Soxpranos @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 12:38 PM) look at Prior who has a better build than Mccarthy.. injury can happen to anyone. Have u seen Prior lately he said he lost 20-30 pounds b'cuz he was battling some sickness, thats BS *cough*Steroids*cough*
-
i kinda see them putting him in 3rd basae if he does sign with the Indians

everyeone says Jerry Owens can contribute to the team this year, and i agree. He can and he will just watch, but i think he coulda contributated last year. Guillen said he was looking for someone with speed when Scotty went on the DL but he kept playin Timo and he also said he didn't want to play Jerry Owens because "he played in Double A" But now this year hes probably going to end up on the roster without even playin in Triple A

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 01:03 AM) future lead off hitter of the WS dats what ive been trying to say all year long, but no one listened to me. everybody kept saying that Pods was gonna be with the Sox for many years 2 come. dont get me wrong that would be awesome, but someone like Jerry Owens shouldn't be in the Minors he would be great to have in the clubhouse next year. Sox should get rid of Carl Everett, Geof Blum, Willie Harris. Jerry Owens should take one of those spots, Dont forget bout Brian Anderson. :-D
-
Everett Should NOT Play the Outfield!!!!!!!

QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 09:37 PM) I was thinking about it, and I thought I would share it with the rest of the happy White Sox fans tonight. I am a third generation White Sox fan. In my lifetime, I have seen something at least one generation has not seen. The White Sox winning a playoff series. So let's send a toast up to heaven for all the White Sox fans that never got to see this ... ... and hope there are two more celebrations. glad u witnessed it cuz the way the sox were playing in the past i dont think anybody could see them win a playoff series. i c a bright future after this year. with jenks, anderson, chris young , jerry owens and mccarthy, especially all our young pitchers in the minors so it wouldn't suprirse me if we make the playoffs every single year
-
QUOTE(bmags @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 08:10 PM) well, that botched play where he kicked it behind the back stop, and the not an error, but the play where damon hit it right at him and he didn't scoop it...thats why... Mueller? oh wow what a great example. they both suck. Credes been playing a lot better than what im used to seeing but all this playoff athmosphere can do that to eventhe worst players.
-
QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 08:07 PM) It's pretty crazy but almost everyone contributed. It was a true team effort. Uribe hit .400 with 1 HR and 4 RBI in this series though. why would u vote for el duque , first ur all dissing him now just cuz he got out of a jam hes an MVP? it was nice what he did but come on!
-
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 09:17 PM) Dmitri Young said this in the first week of the season. He thought it would be Tigers-Indians fighting for the top spot in the ALC. i remember that, i forgot bout it 2 . he was right bout the indians but the tigers...i dont know give them a year or 2
-
QUOTE(kdhargo @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 04:35 AM) I don't see why everyone keeps referring to Boston coming back in series last year or in 2003. This team simply does not have the same pitching it had when they made such comebacks as those mentioned. There is no Pedro to lean on anymore... if im not mistaking wasn't pedro the pitcher the yanks were always getting runs off? i dont think he was a difference maker , it was the time of the year where he started getting tired and couldn't get outs.

QUOTE(1549 @ Sep 24, 2005 -> 07:51 AM) s***.... I am sorry if someone already posted this (I haven't seen any, but idk for sure), but that movie was scary as f***. Horror movies usually don't get to me so I thought I'd see this, damn...I was on edge during the movie, and it was one of those movies that lingers in your mind after you see the thing. Well, anyways, I recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. 1...2.....3....4....5....6....

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 22, 2005 -> 06:46 PM) Again, for him to end up in the postseason rotation, if there ends up being such a thing, that means he'd have to replace Buehrle, Garland, Garcia, or Contreras, since almost every team uses a 4 man rotation in the playoffs with the 5th starter going into a long relief role. Who would you take out of the rotation? I would honestly take out buehlre are garcia , but if i were GM wouldn't u already be hating me just for sayint this? lol
