Honestly? I would trade Crochet for a top notch GM in a heartbeat. Granted I don't think Dayton Moore is that guy, but I wouldn't hesitate to do it for an actually good front office head.

He was one of the biggest failures of the rebuild. He was supposed to be a superstar Frontline starter. Instead he failed at that, then failed at relieving, even revealing that he refused to listen to coaching. I couldn't care less about the rest of it. I won't ever root for the guy.

It's hard to argue otherwise, that I am not sure how many games even a Tito Francona wins with this dumpster fire of a roster.

Wilson isn't going to see too much of a raise in his first year. Probably something $1.5 to 2 mil, tops.

I do think IF you do this, it has to have years of runway to prevent injuries.
