  1. I don't see a way for the Astros to make a deal for Fedde if pretty any other team wants him
  2. Is there an actual link to this because I can find nothing.
  3. Not draft the 2nd rounder in favor of a slot college kid.
  4. They haven't been over .500 since 2015 and had lost at least 97 games in 5 out of the last 6 full seasons.
  5. They gonna give that poor man a heart attack of laughter if so.
  6. Cronin was killing it in Miami too. Luckily none of the guys we let walk were regrettable
  7. The ability of the Sox pen to blow a game no matter who is on the mound is just absurd
  8. So if a guy is trying to steal and it is tipped, drop the ball so they can't steal ever.
  9. If you bring a glove to the game and drop an easy homer ball with it on, they should take your glove.
  10. Someone explain to me how if you catch a tipped ball you can steal, but if it isn't caught you can't steal?
  11. The Cubs have to be one of the biggest disappointments in 2024.
  12. They shut him down.. for "anticipated soreness". Lmao.
  13. Yeah, that's the part I was pointing out too, because obviously he wasn't trying to do the same...
  14. You are lecturing a guy on injuries, injury history, and injury prediction who does this professionally and knows WAY more than all of the rest of Soxtalk combined on this topic.
  15. Thinking through that, let's call it $5/$15 in the next two seasons, so we are talking like 6/150ish by the time buyouts are established. That is at least realistic.
  16. We know Jerry isn't going deep. But I am curious how far people are willing to go, because it is one thing to say it, but it is another to put together something that matches said unicorn status.
  17. Out of curiosity, how much are you willing to pay to extend him?
  18. Wheeler even had put up big innings numbers early in his career. He put in 149 innings between AA and AAA. He put up 168 in his last MiLB year and first MLB year combined. He put up 185 innings in his 2nd season at MLB. Garrett Crochet put up 180 innings total between 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. Wheeler might have had some injuries later on, but he put up a ton of base work before them.
  19. That's what my guess would be. They aren't healthy enough to either stay on the roster or continue to play.
  20. This sounds like they are both hurt again, but I am not quite sure by that wording if this means they are being recalled, or just not rehabbing anymore. If they were being recalled, I don't know why you would "further evaluate" them.
