Look if we are going to pretend that a "lack of evidence" is somehow evidence, and then handwave away anything that actually serves as evidence, by those standards there is no evidence that the Sox lockeroom isn't a toxic mess either. But I think the player survey's, coupled with actual player statements are telling.

Everything I read about Baldwin sounds like the kind of guy that Getz/JR will love. I think the downside is that while he keeps adjusting to the minors, that no one seems to think he has a carrying tool, nor a set position. Maybe he is the kind of guy that makes a living bouncing around the diamond as a vital bench player who plays 5 positions defensively well.

You seem to assume that Jerry cares what the people think. If he did, I think he would actually be having the organization spending at least sometime giving respectfully comments that give at least some honest evaluation of the team and it's future. I don't expect gory details, but even to acknowledge that this is a rebuild and it will be a LOOOOOONG time before they are good again would go a long way towards build back even a minimal trust in what the org has to say.
