Honestly I think JR needs a couple more months at the minors. It is such a huge jump from 1/2 a year at AA to the majors. And if he isn't going to be starting somewhere, I don't want him here anyway. I think Borch has the edge simply because of how much more he has played, but you never know what can happen going into the spring.

I did forget about Uconn But that is the interesting thing about the tourney now, is with all the kids who leave early for the NBA it makes a lot more teams darkhorses in the tourney.

Who is the best team that you have seen so far this year? I think Duke might be mine. Also Carolina scares me as a dangerous tourney team, except for their depth. Also Arizona and Stanford of all teams.

Duke is issuing a beating early. It will be interesting to see if Wake respondsd.

good stuff. I saw the kid play HS state finals a few years back for Union Drugger HS in IN. I have been following him ever since. That was a great state finals to see. Jared Jeffries HS team played Zach Randophs HS. Also saw Sean May of UNC during his sophomore year in the 3A game.

Illini win in a blowout. It is sad to have the best of the Big 10 all have a loss only 3 games into the confrence season. It might only take 5 losses to win the Big Ten this year.

Actually I have got two real quick points. A quarterly recession by definition is impossible. A recession is defined as two consecutive declining quarters. And as for raising rates, it sounds as if a rate increase won't come until at least this summer. The professionals and the futures based on interest rates, don't have a rate increase priced in until June's contract.

He just got a reasonable 3 year deal though. That will help keep him here.

You mean not everyone finds you a bit hypocritical? You get the good with the bad, deal with it. Brazil seems to have no problems accepting $40 billion a year from the US, plus flooding our markets with their cheaply produced goods, not to mention singlehandedly proping up their military. But because the US wants something in return, we have an evil government? Brazil is another American welfare state. They would still be in a hyperinflationary depression, if we hadn't have spent American tax dollars to bail them out. As I have said before, if Brazilians have such a problem the only way that they are going to change anything is by not doing business with the US. Until then, they are hypocritical for expecting something for nothing.
