It was interesting that you mentioned James, as the pastor at the church I "attend" has been giving sermons on James. This week was on the 4th chapter, and the text is so applicable to so many phases of life. When he was reading it, I instantly had a picture of the current Israel/Palestine conflict, but the appilcations reach accross all aspects of life. Some good games the last couple of days. Syracuse looked tough again blasting Mizzou, in Missouri, and Oklahoma got destroyed by UConn by 30 points. The ACC is looking by far and away the best confrence in the country. The Big 10 is a joke right now, and that is accented by having Penn State tied for first place, early on.

I just read former Chicago area HSer Michael Thompson has announced his is tranfering from Duke to Northwestern University, in a huge coup for Bill Carmody. That really gives them a potential star to build around.

And actually I have seen Twist and Shout a few times now. They are top notch when it comes to tribute bands. They did a great show two years ago, where they played the entire 1964 Comiskey Park concert. It was good stuff, and I highly recommend any Beatles fans who have not seen these guys to go. It is a great time.
