Two more things I want to add from a biblical sense. One is Judge not lest ye be judged. The other one I can't quite remember (maybe cw or someone else can help) is something to the affect of, if one has committed any sin, they have committed all sins, and that no one sin is any worse than any others.

ditto here also in a lot of ways... That is pretty much why I have turned more into what I call a Biblical Christian than anything else. Going back to the book threadthere is a great book out there called "Pagen Christianity" (I forget who it is by) It details where lots of the rituals and other things that churches do came from. So many things were adopted to get other believers into the fold, and have absolutely zero biblical basis.

What changed? That restraining order serve as a wake up call?

Believe me, it isn't on the top of our list, but Ang just started a teaching program for people who aleady have degrees and it was $600 in cash up front just to get into the program. She still has to pay for classes and books. Luckily it is only one class and a seminar. Plus next month we have to start paying on that pretty new car As long as nothing else happens we should be going.

Not much sense in panicing IMO. This team isn't that good to get all wound up about. Don't exect much, and hope for the best.

I have had the same thoughts also, and may end up cancelling based on money at the last minute. But I am also curious to meet people, and Soxfest usually is a lot of fun.

I know this sounds bad, but in hockey this happens decently often. An illegal stick is one that has too much curve on it. Goal scorers use these to get more movement on their shot. And to underscore that it isn't a big deal, all it means it Jagr got a two minute penalty. The reason that you don't see more illegal stick calls, is because the opposing teams bench has to call for a measurement. And if the opposing team in wrong in thinking someone has an illegal stick, they get a two minute penalty for delay of game.

Pack gets a short field goal to go up 17-14 with about 10 minutes left in the game.

Tonight Boucher will have to earn it, if he is to have #6. He gets to match up with Ilya Kovalchuk and the Atlanta Thrashers on ESPN tonight. My advice is for anyone who has not gotten to watch Atlanta and Ilya play, watch this game and watch THE most exciting player in the NHL today, bar none.
