  1. I like the backdoor that the defense is trying to sneak through to admit the girls sex life into the case...
  2. Stupid question but is ANY team going to be INCREASING payroll this year? Could this free agent market be cheaper than last year? The only teams I hear that are talking about spending money are Baltimore and San Diego.
  3. Ugly limiting 3 drop adds per week after that season... And greatest GM ever? Sure Kenny.
  4. Hey at least I didn't have to resort to cheating so that a rule change had to be made
  5. Where are your priorities? Besides, did you think I was going to actually post my draft strategy?
  6. God I hope they cut payroll. If that happens this division is up for grabs, as the Twins will have to unload a bunch of players and have no chance at resigning anyone.
  7. Yos, I made this post a while back. Any questions let me know. http://www.soxtalk.com/index.php?showtopic...nflation&st=15#
  8. Alizee Anna Kournakova Shakira Britinany Spears Beyonce Knowles Well this is my fantasy team.
  9. Denial, the first sign of aging
  10. Thank you. Don't forget about the 20% interest rates. News Flash! Supply side economics works! And it is working so well right now To amend your statement, supply side economics works IF capacity utilization is near 100% and employment is near full. Otherwise it is just giving money to the rich. Give it time. Give it time. We're getting there. The economy is growing again and employment is rising. Not really. Along with the growth is the fact that more people are giving up on unemployment, running out of unemployment, or working part time because they can't find work, which all don't show up as "unemployment". The big part of growth has come from American's deficit spending, which is actually not considered true "economic" growth. I have said it before, and will say it again. Either this economy is going to double dip into recession, or we are going to see inflation again.
  11. f you PA [sighs while reminising of the good old days]
  12. According to Monty Python the Catholics would say so... Anyone have more insight?
  13. Man oh man you aren't kidding about the steak joints either. A Saltgrass down there blows away most anything except the best places up here. I don't know if it is still there or not, but there used to be a place in Conroe where you could order your cut by the ounce. When I was down there before, I did make sure to stop by the stockyards in Ft Worth for dinner. I also made sure I had some BBQ while I was down there. A sure fire way to spot someone who has never been in TX before? When you mention BBQ, they ask what is being BBQ'd.
  14. no standards or morals for that matter
  15. Usually I just donate a specimen...
  16. Yeah my dad lived there for a few years. I spent two summers in Conroe, and one in Montgomery. I loved the area down there, I'd move back in a heartbeat if they had my kind of work down there. Woodlands was a little out of my families league . I actually drove through that whole area last summer and couldn't believe it. It has changed so much I was in shock.
  17. Most of the sites I just looked at were pay sites There used to be a million of them when the markets were way up. I used to be pretty good at day trading on there, I was always in the top 5% or so. I'd really like to trade for myself, but I have the same problem you do, I am broke
  18. It is more acurate if you buy it based on a spot (usually 20 min old) quote off of one of the financial sites. What you should do is find a fantasy trading site and play. They do exsist, I did one for a while when I first started working in the industry, but didn't have time for it and quit doing it. Maybe I'll start again. Let me look for a site, and see what is out there...
  19. Don't follow stocks as much as I used to when I worked on the floor of the options exchange. Now I work in the futures markets and actually deal a lot with gold futures among other things. I know gold prices have really been pushing upwards, putting pressure on breaking $400/oz. That is a big number right now for them. If it goes through that, it has some big upside to go.
  20. I've been saying this all along. As a Sox fan, if you are now cheering for the Cubs for any of a multitide of what you may think are rational reasons, do White Sox nation a favor and turn in your black and white's to a DIEHARD SOX FAN and do yourself a favor and go out and buy your fairweather-ass some Cubbie Blue. Tools. I will never..... EVER..... cheer for the f***in' Cubs. EVER. Preach on Rev CK :fthecubs :sosasucks
  21. Hinrich said after the game "I played like a punk" At least he is honest...
  22. It wasn't that long ago the NHL was talking about the samething... and we all know how that went...
  23. What is it with stupid people and the playoffs? http://www.msnbc.com/news/977941.asp?0dm=C14US
