I will say a couple of things. #1 this thread was entertaining. Some of the creative slams were pretty funny, in my demented opinion. #2 some people might need a time out from here for a while. There are a lot of sensative and defensive people. There is no real purpose served by lashing out at people. JMO for whatever it is worth

Maybe in a couple of years they could have some wins. They need another goalie (Lieghton and Anderson sucked) and some better Dmen, but the kids I saw last night (Ruutu and Radulov have a lot of talent, Seabrook and the other rookie #1 were scratches) can play. This team could develop into a Vancouver type team in a couple of years, if guys like Zhamnov, Daze and company stick around.

I actually got freebie tickets to last nights exhibition game for the Hawks and I will tell you this much. Tuomo Ruutu is going to be the next big star in this town. He is incredible. I have never seen a European player play that physical of a game. He had some open ice hits that were beaut's. Plus his puck handling and passing were very pretty. He has an incrediblely polished game for such a young player. I am ready to go get my Ruutu jersey already. Roenick is a good comparision of style of game, except I think JR had a better shot, and Tuomo is a much better passer.

My guess is that you could count the number of people who could debate with you on one hand, so they result to personal insults out of jealousy. Wrong, right or indifferent become immaterial. Because you are the most vocally anti-Bush you are now associated AS the movement.

I doubt Vlad goes to NYC. He has stated on many occasions that he likes the quiet of MTL, and wants to play somewhere like that. Baltimore might be a good idea, as maybe San Diego.

Just to weigh in. I don't like the thread being closed either. All it was was namecalling. No physical harm was being threatened, nothing racist, sexist, etc, was being done. If we are going to lock threads everytime name calling starts this is going to be a s***ty board to post on.

Howdy all, nice to see the offense remembered how to score, ONCE IT DIDN"T MATTER!!! It almost makes me mad to see us score 7 runs in 3 games in MN, yet we score 8 in a meaningless game against KC. thats a funny story.. one thing though.. the sox usually go through midway....... They could have called from Midway. He just said he was at the airport and I just assumed it was O'Hare.
