  1. For our own confidence sake, we have got to get to the Gambler early and often. We cannot let the Twins score first, or I would almost guarentee that we lose.
  2. Actually he hit .373 combined between the two leagues, but point well made.
  3. Can you post the article. It is subscriber only.
  4. We may see one of them starting in RF or LF next year. It might be RF if we can't get somekind of a long term deal worked out with Magglio...

Maybe what he is saying is that you would have to be born in 1998 to believe his crap...

  7. Or the Bears would be the worst rated team in the NFL. Well at least we know who we are fighting for the #1 pick... BTW for all of the college experts out there, who are the top canditates for the #1 pick in the '04 draft? http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/6645334
  8. http://www.bible-codes.org/ They have been running an interesting story on this, on the history channel lately.
  9. If we don't win the next two games, 7/9th's of our fate rests with the Detroit Tigers. Do I need to say anything more?

He said he was "born" in 1998.
  11. http://www.msnbc.com/news/961894.asp?0cv=CA01 Virgina Beach is one of the manditory evacuations for the Hurricane, so no Roman for a while.
  12. That's pretty much what it comes down to. I don't see how 2 teams who were expected to battle for the division title all year long get completely different schedules in September when the gms count most. I realize in the end everybody has played the same schedule. But somethin just ain't right about us playing the Yanks and Red Sox in Sept while they're playin the Tigers and Indians. Look at the Cubs in their division. They've been playin cupcakes all month. It just doesn't seem right. At the beginning of the year the Royals looked like the worst team in the division. To blame the schedule is foolhearty. I realize that. But u would be hard pressed to ever name a year in which 2 teams that were expected to contend in Sept had such vastly different schedules. The Sox and the Twins had the same schedules. The Sox played all of the same teams earlier than the Royals and Twins did. Just because of the timing of when specifically some teams are played doesn't make a difference. We played all of the same teams.
  13. Thing is, because the offense didn't score anything, it really doesn't matter who pitched. The only potential bright spot is that Loz only threw 76 pitches and might be able to go on 3 days rest.
  14. Maybe if Cleveland has a dead arm power closer to trade KW could be duped again Didn't Wickman miss the season with arm surgery of somekind? He would be perfect.
  15. I still say that the Twin has to go. I am convinced he is a jinx!

He is a pretty impressive fluke IMO. The guy has just enough technological knowledge to throw some stuff out there at you, then he is vague enough to let people read into it what they want to. PLus with some solid geopolitical and history knowledge, how hard would some of this stuff be to come up with?
  17. Ugh. I think we just found the person to blame this loss on. Mr Jinx! BTW I am not nervous anymore, just pissed off
  18. Why? The guy has more flip flops than a beach, more lies than the White House, and more bulls*** than the Maverick Ranch. His whole point of writing is to piss people off. That's it. He is a troll with a newspaper job. Once again :fyou Kotex-Boy.
  19. How about "Does anyone know CPR?"
  20. I guess this means we can call Frank Thomas a fluke to, since all he did was hit 40 HRs, but has just been terrible for the last two weeks?
