Actually it is a lot more typical for pitching to give up a lot more hits when their team scores a lot of runs. The pitchers throw a lot more first pitch fastballs challenging the hitters and trying to get them to put the ball into play. Also you tend to use you back of the bullpen pitchers a lot more in a blowout. The fact that we gave up a lot of hits isn't a big surprise.

We have to have Billy kick his ass into gear, if we are going have an chance of making a deep run into the playoffs. I really hope he turns it around, but right now JM has to be extra smart about where and when he uses him. He needs to give Koch chances where he has a better than normal chance to succeed.

Yeah the way the site is set up you can either create a new template everytime or just use the old template and edit it, I always just go back and reedit instead of typing everything again. Damn they just replayed the run that KC got their 3rd run on, it was a foul ball. We should have never gone to extra innings. And ESPN just said we won 7-5 And Michael Tuckers game tyer was pretty cheap too... Cheap, but legit. That 3rd run was a foul ball, it should have never happened. But then again, if Carl Everett doesn't blow through his cutoff man the second run doesn't score either.
