  2. Can't beat fun at the old ballpark. Good story and great pics, heads!
  3. Rickey is a first ballot HOFer, no doubt.
  4. Really how can you complain about the Sox pitching as a team? This is the best we have pitched AS A TEAM in 10 years or so.
  5. Nah the Jays will probably call up some AAA pitcher to kill us instead
  6. If Tony G was to start everyday he would hit .200, not to mention the amount of errors he would commit at 3B
  7. I ride the south shore train into work everyday, and we are closed down because of the first at 70th st. Anyone else not getting into work today?
  8. lmao, if you can find something worth reading, more power to ya!@
  9. You mean in the 200 + posts where you have said absolutely nothing?
  10. If that's the case, we could be in for a long day In other words... Porzio vs Mullholand, bet the over!
  11. The Stupid Cubs, Twins and Royals all had to win. The Cubs kicked the s*** out of Dontrelle Willis, has he finally been figured out? Or is this just a one time thing? I will be curious to see how he does on his next start.
  12. I hate to rain on parades, but Tony is best in small doses. He is a great spark plug, but still shouldn't start more than 2-3 times a week. He is dangerous as an unknown, but if pitchers see him too much becomes ineffective. Plus his D is scary...
  13. Yes that is the announced match up.
  14. Thanks K dub! It was a little shorter than I thought, but a BOMB none the less! For Frank!
  15. NO ground gained today
  16. Ah the good old days...
  17. The "old" days they didn't throw the way they do now in between starts, and they didn't have the variety of off speed stuff that they do now. Pitchers are putting way more strain on their elbows and shoulders than they ever used to do.
  18. Gee do you think this comes from the fact that he, Wood and Zambrano are all in the top 5 or so in pitches per start in the NL? http://espn.go.com/mlb/news/2003/0720/1583188.html
  19. We have, Michigan City aka "The Region" basically.
