Like I said, Sunday was a freebie. A buddy of mine is a vendor and it is one of the days that they could get tickets for. Other than that, unless the ballclub wakes up, I am only going to the games that I have already paid for.

In other words is anyone going to the ballpark to take in the fiasco known as the 2003 Chicago White Sox this weekend? I got freebies to Sunday's game so my wife and I are going.

Yeah the whole getting 2 hits in innings 4-8 thing was a killer. Also the big DP's including Frank GIDP with one out and runners on the corners, the O just seemed to die after that one.

Yeah just wait til he ripens at the end of summer...

You bring in Marte to give Bonds a completely different look, arm slot, pitch speed... everything. Marte is one of the best lefties in the game. WHY THE f*** IS HE DOWN THERE IF HE ISN'T GOING TO FACE THE KEY LEFTIES? It has been a long time since I left a game that pissed off. And it was all preventable if our manager had a f***ing brain.

Texas City is right on Galveston bay about 15 minutes from Galveston Island right off of I-45. It is a HUGE refinary town. Really it is kind of a nasty polluted place. You are about an hour and 15 minutes to and hour and a half north of there.

If you get the chance check out NASA. It is about 10-15 minutes up I-45 from you. It is SOOO worth it! Get down to Galveston Island and the Bolivar Pennisula too, great beaches.

Went to the stage. Said it. Then left. He was there maybe 15 seconds. There was no point. Most questions at that point were about Colon. It was just very out of the blue. I was at that session too... Did you think it was weird the way he came in, made the comments, then left? We went next door after we left that session and he was fine. I even asked what was up with the performance.. quote.. "oh that.. nothin". Nothin?? Mark, you just acted like aliens took over your body for 15 seconds, and it's nothing? He was fine at the bar after that so I just figured he was just being coy.. but I just couldn't forget about it. It was strange. At first I was under the impression that he stuck his head in a door not knowing what was going on in the room. Then when everyone saw who it was almost as if he HAD to say something so he went in and said what everyone wanted to hear.

From the rumblings Anderson shouldn't be TOO bad to sign. The one that scares me is Sweeney because I haven't heard a word about us talking to him.
