  1. Dude you realize that all 3 of your first points would get you laughed at. KC wants a 3B, 2B and a CF for Beltran. One of them has to be a cheap young star, two have to be huge prospects. Beltran wants 8 years at $15 mil per. Boras is his agent He isn't signing in Chicago or for $50mil. Colon is going to look for something much longer than 4 years. The per year might even be a little low depending on the Yankee effect of how many of their pitchers retire or leave, and how much they spend to replace them. Thomas can't be released, he has a dual option that we have to pay to get rid of him. He has a series of 4 one year contracts already signed. Jimenez at SS would be worse than Valentin. He has a lesser arm, less range, no work ethic, and a propensity to make the routine plays interesting.
  2. http://espn.go.com/mlb/columns/neyer_rob/1560894.html Neyers take on the deal. I have always wondered what the big deal was about Hillenbrand.
  3. Yea, so we get to be embarassing on two continents

  5. ALL IS WELL! http://www.msnbc.com/news/916998.asp?0cv=CB10
  6. I though the pitching would be good enough. Not good but not bad either. I kind of guessed that Val would regress, but I wouldn't have guessed the whole damn offense would be hitting like s***.
  7. Happy birthday dude!
  8. He just should have STOPPED!
  9. Time to go out on the limb... Sandy Alomar
  10. It also could hasten the break up of the Marlins. let's get on the phone and start asking about guys like Juan Pierre, Alex Gonzalez, and Josh Beckett!!!
  11. I don't know about Koch, but I couldn't handle work if I had to shut the hell up
  12. as of 10 am Chicago time Thursday add these people Rafacosta, Juggernaut, Indysoxfan, and Steff have all picked Carlos Lee twice now this week, and he can't be picked again until Monday.
  13. If you though it would be the Sox pitching saving the asses of the offense to keep us anywhere near having a chance at the division this year.
  14. Yeah if Damaso or Kelly gets dealt, I think Cotts is a possibility. But I think Arnie Munoz would be the first lefty reliever to come up. He had an awful first couple of weeks at AAA, but has been lights out for the last 6 weeks. It would be interesting to say the least. I think Ginter is the leading RH canditate to come up to the pen, over Almonte and everyone else.
  15. Cotts won't get a call up unless it is in Sept. The next starter to get called up will be Jon Rauch if anything happens. Also ahead of Cotts is Josh Stewart. I would like to see them use Neal in relief and see what happens.
  16. Or if you want go ahead and give it a caption. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...l&e=1&ncid=1756
  17. God I hope the old people police come get me at about 40... Heck even if I lived to a 100 I won't see a White Sox world series, so I might as well get to heaven!
  18. I am torn. The improvements look great. We finally have a state of the art football stadium. But it looks like s*** to have that sitting on a historical design.
  19. Wow, if he ever gets his pitch counts down...
  20. I was at that June 1st game, on our way to our Niagra Falls vacation. Suffice to say the only thing that went over the falls in a barrel was the Sox playoff chances.
