  1. Adding the the Ex-Sox success rate of today, Robin gets a 2 run dinger off of Halliday.
  2. I did notice how many new posters there were when I was looking at the dates people had signed up on. I guess we will see!
  3. Really if you throw out the lackluster preformance of the offense, today wasn't that bad. I do like the fact that we did have some gems on D, including the two runners cut down at the plate, and the diving catch in CF by Rowand.
  4. Is it always like this in here after a loss? Man the trolls on ESPN don't seem quite so bad, as everyone eating their young in here. Please tell me that this isn't the norm here.
  5. Man they have the backboard and cart out there for him. THis doesn't look good. Well at least he is walking to the cart. Ugh. you hate to see that happen to anyone.
  6. That fan deck looks pretty cool. And the scoreboard looks pretty sweet too. Anyway I will be there on Friday to check it out myself.
  7. Could be. I hadn't really thought about that til you posted it. That sounds like more of a NBA schedule, than an MLB schedule. But leave it to Jerry R to have his team running around like fools trying to make a few extra bucks before the regular season. I think I read that only like 6 teams played yesterday.
  8. I notice that each poster has a level based on how many posts they have made. Anyone know how many posts go to each level?
  9. It shouldn't matter where we start. As a matter of a fact they should know that these are the teams that we should be getting fat on. The bottom feeder teams of the league we need to kill so that if we play like crap against the AL West or the Twins again, we have some padding.
  10. I would just like to chime in and name this the Completely Uselss By September thread... aka the CUBS thread.
  11. Carlos Lee just reminds me of Sammy Sosa at his age so much. He always seems to be two steps behind and in a fog all at the sametime. I am hoping after reading about Frank Thomas trying to motivate him to work harder, that he will finally "get it" I can't sell him short after one game. C'mon Carlos make this your year!!!
  12. I have nothing against us starting on the road. I like the idea of not having baseball in Chicago in March! Hopefully it will be 30 degrees warmer by Friday so I don't freeze my ass off on openning day.
  13. Is how flat we looked today. There really didn't look like a lot of emotion. For godsakes its openning day. It looked like we were in a mid summer fog today. No one really seemed to be into it. If we see a couple more of these kind of outings can a Manuel firing be far behind?
  14. and he gets shot down at home, with an infield nubber.
  15. Thank God Hernandez is out of there!
  16. I have no idea how anyone thought they could score on that, but hey it gets us out of the inning!
  17. Wow, is the O looking terrible today. No one except Frank wants to hit the outside pitch the other way, so everybody is either popping the ball up or striking out.
  18. and a bad one too. Wake up Jose! :puke
  19. That we have openned on the road, wow. I didn' realize it was that many!
  20. Two walks in two innings. Very unusual for him. One was a close pitch though.
  21. Texas has played at "home" a few times this tournament also, it happens. TX was also a #1 seed. OU got the shaft being a #1 seed playing a road game to a #3 seed. If anyone deserved the advantage it is the #1 seed.
  22. 2b Jimenez ss Valentin dh Thomas rf Ordonez 1b Konerko lf CLee 3b Crede cf Rowand c Alomar Lets play ball!
