QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 24, 2007 -> 01:26 PM) The hordes of people stalking out every square inch of that hotel trying to get every single autograph possible no matter what. Hearing Bmac's story about people stuffing stuff into the john while he was going the bathroom summed it up nicely for me. What the hell..that just sounds nasty.

QUOTE(fathom @ Jan 23, 2007 -> 04:23 PM) Very predictable signing. The writing is on the wall that if Pods is healthy, Anderson's spot in CF is in jeopardy. Here it is: http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...sp&c_id=cws

QUOTE(watchtower41 @ Dec 7, 2006 -> 11:30 AM) Wow, that's pretty deep. Maybe we should have consulted with Tim Raines before we re-signed Pods because he is an "expert" in base stealing. Oh wait... nevermind. What has happened to the collective IQ of Sox fans this winter?? I was thinking the same thing considering Raines isn't even with the White Sox anymore.

QUOTE(watchtower41 @ Dec 7, 2006 -> 11:10 AM) and why would they?? Last time I checked, Coop doesnt make the business decisions for the team Oh I don't know, maybe because he's an expert on pitching.

QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Dec 7, 2006 -> 10:36 AM) Rhythm and tempo, that is what Floyd needs...according to Coop. and he said noone consulted him about the Garcia trade...ummm ok.

QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Oct 11, 2006 -> 08:43 AM) maybe they can give out free slurpees if the sox score in the 7th inning. That would be a wonderful thing. Yes this is real. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseb...i-sportstop-hed

QUOTE(Hangar18 @ Sep 25, 2006 -> 01:13 PM) people in my section asked me what I thought of the new SoxFest plan. Told them I didnt like it. Needless to say, people were furious about this, every person saying they were NOT going to seek SoxFest tickets in 07. Ive got to think this is going to backfire badly on the SOX considering hotel rooms sold out in about 1 hour I think it will be sold out.

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Sep 20, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) there are like 6 different ticket pictures, and they rotate in order. You would have to figure out which one is today. there are different pics but everybody's is different depending on what plan you have. You should get in there fine. Most of the time they never look. My friend gets into club level all the time with upperdeck tickets.

QUOTE(Steff @ Sep 12, 2006 -> 09:45 PM) And from the quote you posted, no where does it say you have to be a season ticket holder. And to back up Steff limiting it to just season ticket holders doesn't even make sense since they are 20,000 of us. And yes these price raises are truly ridiculous especially since we all just had to pay for our playoff tickets and season ticket prices are going up next year. I guess this means they are going to a 110 mil roster next year.

QUOTE(Hangar18 @ Sep 11, 2006 -> 10:14 AM) Uggghhhh. The Twinks are going to do to us, what we did to the INDIANS last year. We have wasted game after precious game ......... The SOX should be 6 games ahead in 1st ........ good let them start Liriano and Santana against us. Then they can get swept out of the playoffs using their crappy back end of the rotation.

QUOTE(DABearSoX @ Aug 30, 2006 -> 06:15 PM) Went this year and had a f***ing blast. Met MB, AJ, Joe, Rob, Brian, Scotty at the bars on tuesday and wednesday of the last week. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Aug 31, 2006 -> 08:28 AM) In an note in chicagosports.com, Brooks Boyer said the lower deck seats down the lines will be facing more toward homeplate next season when the rest of the green seats are installed. woohoo!

I was able to go yesterday but not get on the field because of the rain. You think they would know exactly how many invites were sent out and how many party times they would need to have to accomodate everyone. How can you invite X number of people and then later tell them it's full. This makes no sense. Can anyone explain this. Why would you send out more invites than people you can handle? Really in the end you are just screwing over your paying customers.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 27, 2006 -> 02:39 PM) A lot of folks got shafted on this. Called, didn't get tickets, called back.. "sorry.. it's full". How is it full? You know how many invites you sent out.. didn't you realize you sent out too many..?? The included ST holders, those who participated in Dog Day, and those who booked suites and patio parties. Several folks we know got more than 1 set of invites as well. They obviously didn't learn from SoxFest -
The Wood sent tickets VERY quickly after I sent payment. Thanks, I'm looking forward to the game.

QUOTE(POPPY_HIDALGO @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 02:13 PM) I guess were both just assuming. We'll see which of us is closer after the night is through. I'm guessing Santana goes about 4 and 1/3 6 runs, 2K's ALomar is starting tonight along with Ozuna in left

QUOTE(mu mu @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) It's hard to estimate the line, I'll take a guess and say approximately 400-600 people long (??) This was right about 12 noon. I didn't see any news cameras, but I only hung around for about 5 minutes and watched AJ and JC sign stuff on a platform from about 30 feet away, behinf a barrier with Chicago's finest standing guard. I was there and it was complete insanity. There were alot more than 400 people. If you didn't get in line by 10 or so you had no chance to get their autographs. I got there at 11:30 hence I ended up with Bill Melton and Ron Kittle who most people around me had no clue who they were.
