This sucks. We shouldn't have rested Crede,Pods, and Dye. They've all been doing great lately. Garland didn't have that bad of a game but should not have started the inning.

The chemistry thing came to me too, as lame as it sounds. This team doesn't seem to be gelling together. As ridiculous as it sounds, maybe we did give up too many players in the offseason.. Garland didn't look good but defense wasn't exactly on his side last night either.

Come on guys. Ozuna's play butchered the game and handed Garland the loss (I admit, the 4th and 5th innings weren't his strongest but those 9 runs were not his fault). Like Hawk and DJ said, since Ozuna wasn't handed the error, Garland got the 9 runs against, when really he should have only had 4. Which is what all of our starters have been doing lately. Not one of our starters have had a successful outing. Our outfield looks like complete crap without Pods and Dye. And who will even be our center fielder if Anderson gets a day off? Machowiak? Because at the ring day Tuesday, I wasn't that impressed by his center field defense. There were quite a few plays he could have tried for. I know it's only the 4th day and we shouldn't worry too much but this team is not the same team it was. The pitching and defense has been terrible (aside from McCarthy and even Jenks) and that is what won us a WS.

Just wanted to confirm that replica rings were being given out to the first 20,000 fans on Tuesday, right? Someone said they read on ESPN it was tonight but I figured it was a typo. Just wanted to make sure because I am going to the game Tuesday.
