Yeah, my hypothetical is mostly based on the fact that he's available, fits the LHH power need and we have nothing else to talk about so why not speculate wildly. I'd rather buy low on Bellinger since he fills a positional need, but couldn't imagine what kind of package LA would demand for him.

Would you do this deal for a LHH stud 1B of the present and future to replace Jose and eaze the sting of losing Vaughn? A's get immediate production and controllable upside in Vaughn, a potential 3B to attempt to fill Chappy's shoes after he's dealt, and a nice poor man's Khris Davis to boot.

I want to preface this statement by saying I am in no way supporting or advocating Bauer's alleged actions. I have always found the timing of the accusations quite curious, and my conspiratorial mind wonders if there is some connection between Bauer's spotlight on sticky stuff spin rates and these reports coming out as possible retribution.
