Does a real OF catch that ball that Eloy made a half hearted attempt at? -
Stone mentioned Pedro was seen talking to him afterwards

Clevinger & Andrus Back, Scholtens optioned, Alberto DFA

I was nervous anytime Hanser caught a routine popup, he always seemed to be catching it in the heel of his glove while falling forward, won't miss that. -

Hanser one of the more worthless guys they've trotted out in recent memory, even less skills than Leury Legend, good riddance. -
Going to pat myself on the back here and say that this was one of the easiest calls in recent history. Paying jose again was always going to be a massive mistake. My TA decline predictions last off season also coming to fruition. I see Southsider2K5 has gone into hiding for months, anybody done a wellness check?

Remember when he pulled the "we gave who what?" in regards to 10D. That one sure didn't age well for TA, you're the same hitter profile just right handed pal. -

Alberto doesn't seem to have a sense of his abilities that is based in reality, has he successfully bunted for a hit all year? He keeps trying for some reason, like bro you're fat and slow, stop it. -

Liam Hendriks' return appears imminent

Haha very true, but I think they've blown something like 15 leads this year. -

Pen looks a whole lot better with the return of Liam and Crochet imminent, Kelly's newfound Cueto/Zesty Nesty inspired leg twirl dominance and the emergence of Kenyan and Santos, it's really a shame they've dug themselves such a deep hole. -
Garfein: Tim Anderson hates pitch clock, not Chicago

TA is not a star, that's my whole point. -

His "WBC form" where he got exactly 2 hits off of major league pitchers, both of which are lefty? (Sandoval and Alvarado) Guy didn't exactly light the world on fire in the WBC, he was 6/18 with 2 BBs and 7Ks. Did most of his damage against scrubs from Canada. My sense is people here highly overvalue TA. Based solely on his play, he's a maybe a top (10-15) SS in the league when healthy. He has a plus contact tool, diminishing speed, zero power and is average to below average in every other aspect of his game. He's now on the wrong side of 30, thinks he's owed a 9 figure deal, and refuses to move to 2B where his offense would actually play. The window is closed here and by the time it's open again he'll be well past his prime, it's time to deal the diva while he still has some value.
