QUOTE(vandy125 @ Aug 14, 2006 -> 08:48 AM) I will definitely be cheering for Boston. I want to see that bad momentum continue for Detroit. Maybe it can carry them right out of the Division lead within a couple of weeks. I'm hoping that we can take it from them on their home field on the 21st through the 24th. I want Boston to sweep the tigers and then Boston to get swept by the Yankees this weekend while we take care of Minnesota.

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 09:39 PM) Widger is utterly useless at baseball this year. He's not good at either aspect of his job. I agree with that -

What time to arrive at the park to see batting practice?

QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 08:12 AM) 90 minutes. Plenty of time to see visitors BP. Sorry, I stand corrected, maybe a couple of big crowd games they opened the gates up a little earlier and I thought that was every game. -

QUOTE(3 BeWareTheNewSox 5 @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 01:03 AM) Gates Open What time do the gates open for games? The U.S. Cellular Field gates open 90 minutes prior to game time, unless otherwise noted. I believe the gates open 2 hours before gametime this year. That would get you in to see the visitor's BP. -
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jun 20, 2006 -> 09:48 PM) Save some for tomorrow, boys. I am going tomorrow and I thought about the same thing.

QUOTE(chitownsportsfan @ Jun 20, 2006 -> 09:40 PM) You know, I don't think Ponson did that on purpose, but f*** his fatass anyways. Gain some f***ing control over your life and career, jesus. Maybe one of these games we should hit someone first so the warnings come so the other team gets the players thrown out, suspended.

QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 02:45 PM) even more difficult to listen to Santo on the radio.... "sheesh...that one really sounded like a hit..Im surprised it didn't go farther." 2 Outs bottom of ninth and Ron Santo heard the crowd clapping and chanting and Said'listen to these fans! they are great!' I guess it did not realize they were chanting 'LETS GO TIGERS' and clapping when the final out was made. So much for the great cub fans, I guess they sold all their tickets to tiger fans.

QUOTE(BFirebird @ Jun 13, 2006 -> 11:32 PM) Kosher with mustard and onions..SANS ketchup. My Dad's favorite is the taco which is starting to grow on me. I keep hearing how great the Super Taco is, where can you get one at the park? Anything with Super before it has to be tried.

Every game is important. Dont rest on last year's performance,so I agree with ozzie calling them out. We expect better.

My daughter and a couple of her friends also went and were in the peasant line. She also was mad about having to wait for the vip line as people would buy stuff just to be in the VIP line. One lady went thru 3 times ( buying 3 different $50 transactions) before they even moved. My daughter was there at 4: 00 pm and had to wait til 7:30 for the autograph. The vip line may have generated some sales but wait til Carson gets all the people returning the merchandise for their money back. Typical event at a store. - poorly organized. However, she said Bobby Jenks was very nice and even asked if they had been there long, when they said yes, he said he was sorry for the wait.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 03:12 PM) You mean Wednesday, or is there something I missed? Do you how the process works for 27 game ticket holders? Do you go thru your account o chisox or need a special password?

QUOTE(CubsSuck1 @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 05:04 PM) Anyone know when Opening Day tickets are going on sale to the public, if at all? The 14th is that for full season ticket holders only or does it include 27 game ticket holders?
-
QUOTE(whtsox13 @ Jan 17, 2006 -> 07:05 PM) Probably because Season Ticket sales went through the roof. Will the date that split season holders can purchase change?
-
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 6, 2006 -> 08:09 AM) They weren't even available last year for single game tickets, I imagine they will be difficult to get even with packages this year. The Sat game is already unavailable for the Ozzie Plan

QUOTE(THEWOOD @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 06:47 PM) Tony and Chisox...have you guys gone on to the mywhitesox account page and logged in yet? If you did, have you clicked on view invoice? What pops up? I get a no invoice error message. I am already paid in full though so maybe thats why....? I noticed the same thing yesterday and also was worried something may have happened. But today I went on and the have my tickets listed by game. So it appears they are setting the accounts up. Give it a another look or try tomorrow.

If they start off winning the figure will easily get to 2.75 million and KC will be a sellout.

QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Nov 19, 2005 -> 12:06 PM) Thats a lot of money for Joe F'n Crede by the way On the "Just Added" sign, Joe's original price was crossed off and updated. Wonder if that was an decrease or increase in price. At my first soxfest I felt sorry for Joe as he was the player that seen to have everwhere and working like a dog. Now he is in the big time.

Went to the sports show last night. Sox players are getting respect from autograph seekers. They added Contreras $99 and Joe Crede $79 for Sunday afternoon. Pods and Jenks are almost sold out and they are only doing first come first serve for the last of the tickets on Sunday morning at 9:30 am. I heard from a vendor that they are selling 1500 tickets for autographs for pods. That sounds like a good afternoon of work for him. Other players are at other sites in weeks ahead Hopefully, the big names will still come to Soxfest and not try to make more money on the side
