  1. Do they though? I have a feeling in 2023 we're going to be having the same discussion about Kopech and Cease that we are about Rodon now.
  2. It goes both ways. Their pitching sucks too, and their scrubs are still outperforming the Sox scrubs, both hitters and pitchers.
  3. No, they'll win 60 games. In 2022 when guys like Robert and Moncada get traded, they'll be really bad.
  4. Just look at the Tigers, Royals and O's rosters. Even their scrubs are better than the Sox scrubs.
  5. No he means scouting and baseball knowledge. Their average win total might be in the 50s and 60s for the foreseeable future.
  6. And the Sox aren't??? I have zero faith in the current Sox "braintrust"(LMFAO) to accomplish jack and shit. At least there is some form of accountability with other organizations. This one is so incredibly dysfunctional. They make GarPax look like super geniuses.
  7. KW should have been gone a decade ago, He's not going anywhere until JR is no longer with us.
  8. Honestly, the Sox might be the furthest away from competing of all rebuilding teams in baseball. I can safely say they're as far away as the Orioles now. The Sox had a 2 year head start and 3 great assets to trade and they completely bungled the whole thing. The Tigers and Royals will have passed them by 7/31.
  9. Who cares? He won't be here the next time the Sox are any good. Start rooting for his success so they can trade him in a few years.
  10. There are going to be a lot of players from this group that get traded and are good players elsewhere. These guys have talent, it is just that the Sox are so far behind the rest of baseball in scouting, both other teams and talent evaluation. Whoever they draft this year *might* be the first core piece for the next Sox playoff team. Trading Sale et al was just a sick practical joke. while they have a good amount of talent here, the best case scenario is getting right back where they started: a 78 win team.
  11. I know, I drafted him for my fantasy team and I'm highly disappointed. But this season, it is just garbage(Buehler) and flaming trash(Fulmer)
  12. I can't wait until some of these guys actually play for a quality organization that actually gives them the tools they need to be successful.
  13. Walker Buehler has a 5.22 ERA this season.
  14. Why wish for something that isn't going to happen? There won't be new ownership until JR is no longer with us. all we can do is shrug our shoulders and hope that JR comes to his senses. They're doing a damn good job of alienating what is left of their fanbase. This season has just killed all excitement for the foreseeable future.
  15. Hahn shouldn't be shopping anyone. He should be looking for work tomorrow morning. He shouldn't be allowed to make any more baseball decisions. This whole thing is completely fucked. I might go to a game or two this month because I have some free tickets coming, but after that I refuse to go to a game until Hahn is fired. I don't even care about this group of players anymore, because none will be here for the next Sox playoff team.
  16. Moncada too. Gotta keep that trade value intact.
  17. I honestly don't know what to think, but I'm leaning toward this rebuild is already a failure. Hahn needs to be fired tomorrow. They need to start establishing players and recycling them for new prospects immediately. Hahn has now completely failed twice. He deserves no rope whatsoever. Get the fuck out of town.
  18. They have to do something. If you think this the rebuild has already failed and they should be looking to move anyone with MLB service or close to the Majors. Oh and Hahn should be shitcanned too.
  19. Ok I looked it up on gameday it was worse than I thought.
  20. Yeah. It was center low which is usually fine.
  21. It was a low changeup out of the zone. Just great hitting
  22. I wasn't talking about that one. That was the first bad pitch he threw the entire inning
  23. That pitch that Betts destroyed was up and in off the plate.
  24. Both Vazquez and Benintendi's singles were cheap. Then fucking Betts and Martinez. He didn't throw meat up there, just got beat by a couple great hitters
