  1. Ok. Fair enough. This is Lopez's start so I'll talk about him then.
  2. That is why I think Giolito has a higher ceiling. He at the very least has a slider and changeup that are very good, and occasionally he'll flash that ++ curve. Gio's slider is more consistent than his curve. Lopez has a big fastball but his secondary stuff isn't that great. His change is ok to flashing + but his breaking balls are lacking. Lopez should pick either the curve or slider and try to develop feel for one of them. If I were him I'd choose the curveball because it is a different velocity than his changeup, while the slider is similar in velocity.
  3. The Royals are light years ahead of the Sox in advance scouting. You can see it by how their pitchers attack the Sox hitters. Case in point was Moncada in which they only threw him breaking balls after they got ahead with strike one.
  4. Sale is back. Just hit 97 mph. I guess it was a late dead arm period. 3 fastballs in a row. 98, 98, 97.
  5. If they plan to bring Cease up soon, I think they should keep doing the 5 inning starts until Memorial day and then ramp him up for a call up.
  6. No, i just wanted to make a movie reference. Did you see my /pesci thing. It was a movie reference. completely non serious.
  7. I like "Magical Madrigal" better. That was a joke because I wanted to make a movie reference. Completely non-serious.
  8. Colome is only under control for another year after this one. Trade him and sign someone in the offseason to close.
  9. We should call Moncada and Eloy "De two utes" /pesci
  10. I hated Narvaez, thought he was a DH so I was fine with it, as long as Colome pitched well this year. They might be able to get Happ from the Cubs or something like that.
  11. Yeah, whatever they get for Colome at the deadline>>>what they'd get for Narvaez.
