  3. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/5806646?FSO1&ATT=HMA "Ken Rosenthal / FOXSports.com Posted: 3 minutes ago The White Sox are interested in Nationals left fielder Alfonso Soriano, FOXSports.com has learned. But what is their intent? While Soriano would represent an upgrade over White Sox left fielder Scott Podsednik, the Sox's far greater need is an impact setup man. What's more, Soriano is a free agent at the end of the season, and Sox officials have adamantly denied that they would trade top prospects for a two-month rental. The true motive for White Sox G.M. Ken Williams might be drive up the price for the Tigers, who lead the Sox in the A.L. Central by 61/2 games. Or, Williams might want to acquire Soriano as part of a three-way deal that would bring his team a reliever while keeping Soriano away from the Tigers. Could Alfonso Soriano be rounding the bases for the White Sox? (Keith Srakocic / Associated Press) The Mariners continue to discuss Soriano with the Nationals, and the Angels and Yankees remain possible darkhorses as they wait for the Nationals' price to drop. The Nationals, seeking a center fielder, likely want White Sox rookie Brian Anderson. But the Sox, who sent center-field prospect Chris Young to the Diamondbacks in the Javier Vazquez trade, aren't interested in moving Anderson. Adding Soriano to the majors' highest-scoring offense would seem like overkill, but the lack of quality pitching on the trade market is forcing teams to ponder creative solutions. The White Sox's pursuit of Soriano might be just that. Or it might be a strategic smokescreen and nothing more." It would be amazing if we got this guy. Get it done Kenny!!!
  4. Tune into the Minor League Allstar game from 6pm to 9pm on ESPN2. Watch our stud, Josh Fields. (our future Left Fielder in the very near future )
  5. QUOTE(beautox @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 01:03 PM) ha!, don't you know Kenny can make something out of nothing. you should have more faith in KW it would serve you well Are you retarded? I said if he pulls it off it would be a masterpiece. So that is a compliment and I do have faith in KW. Thinking before speaking, "would serve you well"
  6. He has no value at this point to be tradeable. If he does get traded, it would be another Ken Williams masterpiece then.
  7. QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ Jun 21, 2006 -> 10:18 PM) I never liked the idea of kids singing at games or announcing lineups. All these additions for kids takes away from the game. I hate all the little gimmicks parks do for kids, its places like Yankee Stadium and Fenway that show the true game of baseball. I agree. Enough is enough allready. Gene is the voice of the sox. Is nothing sacred in the game of baseball anymore?
  8. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jun 21, 2006 -> 09:48 PM) Relax. I think the Sox get almost 3000 grand a pop for letting a kid do the lineups for two innings.... Ahh...is this that fantasy experience thing?
  9. From what I hear on the TV, they have kids announcing the batters as they walk to the plate now...... Where the heck is Gene Honda, the voice of the Cell...?? I dont want this cutesy stuff with kids. We are the World Champs DAMNNIT!!!
  10. For once I disagree with Ozzie. We are WorldChamps and were playing pussys*** baseball. Tracey was the most effected pitcher tonight and he was defending his team. Thats f***ed up for Ozzie to yell at him.
  11. NO!!!! Not MAN SOO!!!!!!!!
  12. Haha yeah I agree with the previous poster, Gload is our best buneter on the team. I bet Ozzie well play him more now after seeing that.
