Remember Miles is not the best defensive 2nd Baseman and lacks range. If you want to balance out we need to shore up the Defense. Robbie , Olivo are good up the Middle and Crede is good. Paulie Can't catch a beachball at first. I think Lee will become the DH and a Big Bopper. Don't think the Pads are gonna give all those guys when Maggs will be in a contract year. they picked up Giles who has a big contract Wilson is having a monster year, but he's had good years with Florida too. I don't want Wilson K's too Much

It's still Dumb. I bet if the guy was 15-8 you would say the same... Sheesh At 15-8 would we be depressed tonight? It's not just Colon, he's not the only one who failed, they did it as a team. However, most of the rest really tried and failed, GooBoy didn't. Sure he had a few good games, the last one the best, but most he didn't show up until later in the game if at all. Tonight he was staked to a lead and couldn't hold. Not for lack of effort this time, he flat got beat. I don't fault that, teams and players get beat. But at your 15-8 we would've had 1 more win for certain, and of those 5 losses lets say 2 could've been wins. We'd be .5 back after tonight's disaster. LOL and still done.........................like it matters. IF Mb didnt start 2-10 we might have won division. IF we had a decent manager, IF we good learn to bunt, IF we could advance runners, IF we could not swing for the fences on every pitch, IF we had any team speed, IF, IF , IF...................the sad and most pathetic thing of all about this season is we had virtually no injuries and we STILL couldnt win a pathetic division. Colon is the least of the problem. Mark started 2-10 and no one called him anything... Just more BS. As you said Colon was the least of our Problems. Maybe we sould have brought back Todd Ritchie insted of Colon.

Can't play small ball with a slow team. Backman would even let Konerko steal. I think we sould dump Konerko. If the FA is avalible and Robbie walks I think Luis Castillo would be a good fit. I would also like Derrek Lee. A SLICK FIELDING Firstbaseman with power and wheels.
