Here's a little somethng on Kris. One of the dealers where I play poker was telling me that he had run into Kris and he was telling him how his recovery from Tommy John surgery was progressing. He said Kris told him he is throwing again now & he thinks he'll be 100% for spring training. He is very optimistic about his future & sees himself up with the Sox within 2 years. Oh and he told him he was hitting 99 on a speed gun. I didn't remember Kris as being a big power arm guy but he swore that Kris told him 99 not 95 like I thought. I tend to believe him as he's a cubfan & doesn't care much about the Sox or Future Sox. If this is true then KW will have a nice option coming up when he has to make some tough choices on veterans with a lot of innings on their arms.
