QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 5, 2007 -> 05:35 PM) I thought they said they did not even know if he threw the gyroball or not? It is a pitch that has so far been exclusively used in Japan, but no one here seems to know whether it is in his aresenal or not. My guess is that it is, and the reason we have not yet seen it is because it is supposed to be a pure deceptive pitch. All it is is a good change

I hope he gets shelled. ESPN has already gave him the Cy Young.
-
I hope Anderson is in CF and Erstad in left as soon as possible. But who knows, Ozzie kept running Pods out every game last year. I know most people on this board wanted him benched.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 4, 2007 -> 05:20 PM) That's pretty awful, but once again, if we allow 10 runs per game then it's not going to matter what the offense does. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 4, 2007 -> 04:23 PM) He just caught the ball with his back against the wall. I'm pretty sure any outfielder on this team makes that play, am I missing something here? He shouldn't even have been in the game. Alright. Farmer sounded like it was a great catch. -

QUOTE(southsideirish @ Apr 4, 2007 -> 04:21 PM) I am just sick of this blaming the manager when the players don't execute. I understand there are bad managerial decisions, but come on, the players play the game. All he had to do was bunt, do you want Ozzie to go out and hold his hand for him and show him how it's done? Give me a break. Ozzie shouldn't get blamed for everything. But everybody knows that Pods has no business being out there. -

You have to be s***ting me. -
I like hearing Ozzie run his mouth I hate when Ozzie -keeps starting pitchers out there after they are gassed -kept playing Pods in 2006 -played Mack in center -plays Erstad over BA -brought in Hermanson in a crucial extra inning game last year I'm not saying he should be fired though. Although that could change at the end of the year.

QUOTE(whitesox07champs @ Apr 3, 2007 -> 07:52 PM) I can make a case that Damaso's experience beat out Brandon's better statistics. And Damaso did pitch good in Game 3 of the WS. I am looking for you guys to back this up with better reasons than that! You forget the fact that Damaso was a lefty. I still wanted brandon and Duque on the roster, and Marte off.

I go to NIU and I don't get comcast, and the games are blacked out on MLB.tv. What if I used the address of a relative who lived in Arizona? I have heard that the games won't be blacked out, and have also heard the opposite. Just trying to get answers from people here.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Apr 3, 2007 -> 02:00 AM) I thought Masset looked a bit nervous, but his stuff wasn't bad. The guy I didn't like what I saw from out of the pen was Double A, he worked a magic act to not get blown up. I would still prefer to see someone else as the long reliever. I was listening on the radio, so I didn't see the gun. I know he put up his best #s as a one inning guy, and his stuff is sick. -
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 2, 2007 -> 10:43 PM) Florida's good, Gene Honda is better. Screw CBS for having Nantz do the lineups instead of him QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 2, 2007 -> 10:46 PM) I blame James Brown for this s***ty tourney. Same here The tourney isn't the same with Gus Johnson only doing the first two rounds. He should be the main guy, screw Nantz.
