  1. I see them contending in the weak NL central, it mostly depends on Sheets staying healthy. I don't see Bill Hall hitting 30 home runs this year though.
  2. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 5, 2007 -> 08:35 PM) Aren't UNC and Illinois Nike schools too? wonder how they escaped this bullet. Well they did have to go to the shoulder stripes, which aren't awful but a lot of teams would probably look better without them.
  3. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 5, 2007 -> 09:12 PM) Bischoff! Foley? WTF? LOL Best segment in a long while. And I guess it isn't Foley. And now Shane O'Mac is out here. Never really a fan of him in his prime, but it was awesome to see Austin return. I heard a rumor about Austin coming back last week. I got scared when Mick Foley ran out there.
  4. I don't think they are gonna be form fitting like that. Florida wore theirs last week against Tennessee, but it wasnt navy like the picture.
  5. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Mar 5, 2007 -> 03:37 PM) popular program, since when??? I was thinking the same thing.
  6. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 5, 2007 -> 01:26 PM) UNI isn't a bad loss If it was on the road I might agree, but at home it's a game Iowa should win.
  7. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 5, 2007 -> 01:14 PM) Ya, only a few games over. That said we still have a shot at 20 wins if we have a nice tourney. I would say Iowa has to get to the final to even have a chance. They have some bad losses (Arizona St., UNI, Drake). And their only big wins are MSU and Indiana at home.
  8. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Mar 5, 2007 -> 01:07 PM) your saying white trash micah is not enough? Well Heytfelt was their 2nd leading scorer and leading rebounder, and they are 3-2 without him.
  9. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Mar 5, 2007 -> 12:41 PM) We still have to see if any favorites in conference tourneys win and if any surprised actually win their conference tourneys? For instance is gonzaga in if they lose tonight? With Heytfelt I would say yes, but not now.
  10. I read some of the stuff on baseballamerica, and I watch the tournament like crazy. Some sites that I know of are Boyd's world, Baseballamerica, and collegebaseballinsider. Do the Gophers play at the metrodome at the beginning of the season?
  11. It would be great if Depaul could make it to the semis and possibly get a bid.
  12. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 4, 2007 -> 08:19 PM) Get ready to have hundreds of ESPN TV hours to discussing Henderson/Hansbrough. Frankly, I could care less wether is was intentional or not. Actually, I could care less about the entire situation. He probably shouldn't have been in the game in the first place.
  13. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 4, 2007 -> 03:36 PM) They still got a pretty good shot at the 3 seed. Their still number 4 in the RPI and are 8-4 vs. the RPI top 50(5th most in the country). That's one helluva resume. It's not like a loss vs. a top 25 team on a neutral court is going to be frowned upon either. You have a good point. Mid-majors always get screwed in seeding though. But the RPI is through the roof. Really the main blemish is the loss to Evansville.
  14. Well so much for that #3 seed for the Salukis. Hopefully they can secure a #4 in the midwest.
  15. Since the game is in Mesa I assume were gonna have to listen to Kermit. Can't complain though, at least I'll get to see the game.
  16. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Mar 1, 2007 -> 11:36 PM) Does gamecast work for every game?? It should
  17. Well Lawson didn't start tonight (he is going to play). So I guess there was something to that rumor.
  18. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Feb 28, 2007 -> 07:30 PM) Which confuses the living s*** out of me. I hated that change. Because of the change in the way they do the first couple rounds. It all came about after 91 to make teams travel less. It gets confusing when they are saying we are here in Cincinnati for a West Region first round game between Ohio State and Crappy U. Completely agree on the pod system. Hated it when it first started and still don't like it. What I was talking about was that the last three years they called the regions Atlanta, Oakland, etc. Now it's back to West, South, etc. I don't know why they switched to the city names and are switching back to geographic names again.
  19. Does anyone know what the reasoning for switching from the city names to the geographic names? They just started using cities a few years ago.
  20. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Feb 27, 2007 -> 06:26 PM) Terrible way to compare resumes, but team B I got it from an article on CBS.sportsline. And yes, it is flawed. I would probably go with team Illinois as well. Drexel has those nice out of conference wins though. The mid-majors should be rewarded for playing all those road games though.
  21. alright college basketball fans, which one of these teams deserves to be in the tourney more Team A 22-7 1-0 against top 25 RPI, 3-2 against top 50, 7-5 against top 100 13 road wins wins at Syracuse, Nova, and Creighton team B 21-9 2-6 vs. top 25 RPI, 3-8 vs. top 50, 6-9 vs. top 100 three road wins
  22. If they win at Iowa I'd say they are in. With a loss they have to win a game, maybe two in the tourney. They just don't have many big wins.
