  1. It's not like my kids have not heard those words before, but when kids are sitting right in front of you, you could tone it down some. The Sox are always promoting that they're a Family friendly ball park and I'm sure if I wanted to be an Arse about it I could have had an usher sit by us.
  2. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Apr 25, 2008 -> 04:23 PM) Ive never seen anyone get taken out of there in cuffs. I wonder how far you would have to go to get arrested there. There were 2 guys in the Bull-pen bar arguing and security broke it up. They even shook hands afterwards. Then a 3rd guy figured it wasn't over with yet. He started running his mouth then he threw his beer in the face of one of the security guards. He was taken out in cuffs
  3. All this talk about underage drinking really hit home last night. My family and I were in sec. 106 last night. We saw 7 different guys get carted out, some in handcuffs and this was just how many we could count. I don't know how many on the other side of the park One thing all these guys had in common, besides having too much Liquid-Courage was that they were all in their 20's. I know there are alot of guys on this board that are under the age of 30 and I'm not saying every 20-something can't hold their liquid, but almost every time I've seen some one arrested at the park it's always a drunken 20 something male ( he's usually the one walking around with his cups all stacked together so you know how many beers he's had) When I was under 21, my buddies and I would buy a couple of beers at old Comisky, but we didn't get drunk and we didn't bother anyone. We were there to watch and enjoy a Baseball game. I take my family to see a baseball game, I really don't want my kids hearing the F-bomb or seeing retards fighting then seeing those same retards handcuffed and carted out. This was the 2nd time my kids have been to a Sox game where there was a long rain delay and both times there were alot of red-faced, glossy eyed 20 somethings carted off in handcuffs. I've got nothing against drinking a few beers and enjoying yourself, but know when to say when
  4. QUOTE (The Beast @ Apr 25, 2008 -> 01:57 PM) Amen! Edit: There is one security guard in the park that I absolutely cannot stand. I'd love to point him out because I'm sure many of you would agree with me on him. He works all over, usually in the bullpen, sometimes along the foul line (left field) and sometimes he is in the dugout. He's an absolute jack ass. When we were grabbing home run balls one day, my friend and I (about 13 years old) had our hands on a ball and it barely slipped off our hands before it fell into the Sox bullpen. He gets the ball and gives it to a kid even though it was pretty much our ball, it hit off of our hands. I actually do believe I dropped it, Kyle picked it up and it bounced into the pen after that. When we asked him what that was all about, he said, "it's all about the kids, go away." I yelled "ass clown" and ran away. But still, there's other cases where we were getting autographs and one day at the Sox/Cubs game, I went to get an autograph from Ozzie---the guy is like, "No, the game is starting," and I ignored him and yelled, "Ozzie, Ozzie!" And Ozzie waved off the security guard, signed my ball and I left, giving the security guard a "f*** you" look. Yes, I can't stand Sox security but not for busting underaged drinking. Is he the older gray-haired man that works the Bull-pen Sports bar area? If so you'd be happy to know some retard threw a beer in his face last night. Oh yeah, the retard never got to see Crede win the game in the 9th
  5. When Crede came up to bat, I looked at my nephew and said I'd walk him if I was managing the yanks. Good thing nobody was listening I'll tell you one thing. I hate going to a game with rain-delays My family and I got to see 7 drunken retards get lead away and who knows how many more that we didn't see.
  6. QUOTE (Gakman23 @ Apr 16, 2008 -> 11:11 AM) It's nice to see we have him waiting in the wings if one of our starters faulter. White Sox | Broadway solid at Triple-A Wed, 16 Apr 2008 10:00:26 -0700 Chicago White Sox prospect SP Lance Broadway is 2-0 with a 0.64 ERA, a 0.71 WHIP and eight strikeouts in 14 innings at Triple-A Charlotte. He's 2-1 now
  7. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 16, 2008 -> 12:21 PM) yikes broadway needs to work on his D ....a ball hit back to him and a bunt he made throwing errors on ...combined they cost him 3 runs The Knights lost 4-2 and Broadway took the lose. 4 runs-1 earned (eventhough his errors cost him the 3 unearned)
  8. QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Apr 16, 2008 -> 02:28 PM) Loewen has absolutely no control, so the offense needs to be very patient tonight. He'll have no problem with a certain 2nd baseman Go Sox
  9. QUOTE (SoxWS05 @ Apr 9, 2008 -> 11:35 AM) I'll be watching this one from sec. 139, row 13. Still plenty of good seats available, cmon out! It's going to be Cold Hopefully the Twinkies bats are just as cold
  10. Man Haeger had a rough one 7 inngs, 7ER. At least he only walked 2 and SO 6 and he still got the win Wasserman save # 3 Paul Phillips 4-5 and Josh Fields 1-3 and only 1 SO
  11. I guess Charile Haeger is the starting pitcher tonight.
  12. You'd think it would be easy to pick up some kind of scrub to fill in. Too bad Heath Phillips wasn't resigned.
  13. The Knights are up 6-3 in the 7th now.
  14. AL East Blue Jays AL Central Tigers AL West Angels AL WC Yankees NL East Mets NL Central Cubs NL West Dodgers NL WC Brewers Angels over Mets
  15. My boy talked with Jerry at 2 different Knights games. He signed a ball and was real friendly.
  16. I sure wish they would just trade him. He really has put the Sox in a tough position and he really dosen't care that he did. I sure hope he dosen't get his big payday next season.
  17. Could Pods really be Back? He's batting .370 and has 6 stolen bases this Spring. Well even if he's back, he'll probably pull a muscle as soon as the season starts and he has to play in cold weather. Go Sox
  18. I saw Jason play last year. He mostly played 2nd base, but I did see him play Short and Centerfield. Could be another Pablo
  19. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Mar 12, 2008 -> 04:11 PM) Bryan Anderson, what is going on here? Didn't Brian have good Springs the last 2 years?
  20. After 93 minutes I'm sure they were tired but the purpose of a Championship game is to decide A Champion.
  21. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Mar 10, 2008 -> 03:35 PM) uribe with a hit off bedard. now you KNOW he's struggling.
