  1. QUOTE (Frankensteiner @ Jul 13, 2008 -> 06:44 PM) There is nothing to address with Konerko. It's either they trade him somewhere or he's starting at 1B for the Sox. They're not going to have the $12M team captain sitting on the bench. He has to Ok any trades (5 & 10 guy) plus who's going to want him with his salary? This is a looking at the bright side thread: Looking on the bright side, Paulie has a higher average than Danks and Buehrle (.167)
  2. QUOTE (SoxPride56 @ Jul 13, 2008 -> 05:32 PM) I am so sick of Konerko, he f***ing sucks!!!!! Something for Paulie to think about during the break: Juan has a higher batting average than he does
  3. After this ugly loss going into the All-Star Break we are still a game and a 1/2 up in 1st place. We have 2 All-Stars (should have at least 5) Thome has gotten his average up to .253, Danks and Floyd are alot better than most thought at the begining of the season, we have a Rookie of the Year canidate in Alexi and Juan Uribe is still with the team So looking on the Bright Side, we are alot better than the so called experts thought we'd be and hopefully the second half (I know it's not really the 1/2 way point) we'll be even better
  4. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 13, 2008 -> 03:41 PM) Damn, Hawk had me all excited. I don't get excited with Hawk anymore. If we got a HR for every time Hawk said "Stretch" We'd have set a record already with 300 HRs
  5. The Knights got beat 12-8 Broadway 5 innings 8 ER Richar, Cook and Blasi hit HRs And Fields goes 0-5 with 3 Ks
  6. QUOTE (tommy @ Jul 12, 2008 -> 06:13 PM) He homered last night, IIRC. So did Josh Fields
  7. Knights losing 5-0 in the 4th
  8. QUOTE (Jim Spencer @ Jul 12, 2008 -> 05:10 PM) Paulie batting 6th Paulie batting 6th Nice catch
  9. QUOTE (tommy @ Jul 12, 2008 -> 01:54 PM) Same lineup from last night. Paulie batting 6th
  10. JoeJoe, you left out Jamie Navarro off of your All-Time Sox Green team
  11. Knights up 4-2 in the 8th Josh Fields with a HR
  12. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jul 11, 2008 -> 12:28 PM) This is what they did in their careers, not with the Sox, for whoever asked that question. If that's the case, what about Tommy John, Steve Carlton or Jim Kaat?
  13. All-Time Sox Roster? Are you going by what these players did in their careers or what they did in a Sox Uniform?
  14. Whisler 10-5 now Knights win 8-2 Josh Fields 0-4
  15. QUOTE (robin23 @ Jul 10, 2008 -> 09:21 PM) Well the way the offense is playing today i don't see a come back coming. Not against Soria in the 9th
  16. Good for Jason I know he's been red-hot lately.
  17. Last year when I went to Indy to see the Knights, there was a news reporter from a station in Charlotte who was interviewing fans to see what they liked about Victory field being located in downtown Indy. He told me Charlotte was trying to get funding for a new field in their downtown. He choose me because my son and I were wearing Knights' caps. I usually see the Knights twice a year when they are in Indy, Toledo, Columbus or Louisville and some day I'd love to see them at home.
  18. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 9, 2008 -> 11:25 AM) It should be Dotel and always should have. Linebrink sucks at closing. Ozzie says he's going committee. Linebrink = LaTroy Hawkins I'd rather see Dotel or Russell Hurry back Bobby
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 8, 2008 -> 05:44 PM) How's the weather? 60% chance of rain
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 8, 2008 -> 05:17 PM) He better not, he was hitting 76 mph on the gun with his fastball in AAA. What a waste of $350,000 Hell I can still throw 76 mph and I'm just a few years older than Loaiza
