Theriot puts the Cards on top with a double, more runs added afterwards 11-6 Cards. I think I'd be more surprised at a wildcard berth for the Cards than I would be for the Rays. Still hoping SF wins that division so I won't have to see Diamondbacks baseball in October. Don't know what it is about that, but I would rather watch post-elimination teams than the division leading D-Backs.

Wondering if anyone can help me decipher this. Time is limited. The ticker was CMZPF, it was doing horribly, and looks to be in the midst of some restructuring. On my positions screen it has been broken up into three symbols: CMT/W/WI, CMTr, and CMZPF. I'm not horribly worried, because this was something that was purchased on the cheap, but would still like to know my options here.

Sun wrecking havoc on the outfielders at Fenway. Boston got a double on a ball that Baltimore's LF lost, Baltimore score 2 on outfield defense by McDonald that makes Juan Pierre's early season defense look stellar. Two dropped balls and one poorly timed leap. Only one of those dropped balls can be attributed to the sun. ...and as luck would have it, McDonald gets one of those runs back with a solo shot. Edit: Another misplayed fly ball leading to Boston's second run. Looks like the OFs are just throwing themselves in the general direction of any ball hit deep. 6-2 O's.

Watching recent Red Sox baseball games is good for your heart. This is what my doctor told me. Middle of the 4th, 4-0 Rays.

Nice to see Morel find power, but I've got to believe that if there was any semblance of meaning left in the games the Sox play (there hasn't been for quite some time now) his power would still be a myth. That first Detroit sweep took a lot of pressure off this team.
