  1. QUOTE (Real @ Aug 4, 2010 -> 05:57 PM) We deserve to lose this one, it's that simple Whatup up a run in the third inning...
  2. Jessica Alba and Alyssa Milano stand out from that list. Some of those faces are things you would see in a stable. Lots of nice bodies, no arguing that, but I put a lot of emphasis on the face... That Jeter girl (#21) looks like she absorbs sunlight as her main form of nourishment but lives in a shuttered basement. Slapping that ass would probably result in a broken hand.
  3. I like the "hit now or forever hold your peace" theory that was brought up in another thread. It makes watching him hit in 3 games over the last 2 days easier to handle.
  4. When it comes to coasters, "tallest and fastest" usually doesn't translate to "best or most thrilling". Just about everyone I know thinks Raging Bull at Great America is the best thing there just because its the tallest. After the first drop (and only in the last row of the train at that) the ride is as tame as Whizzer. Batman or Iron Wolf will give you some forces though. http://rcdb.com/3183.htm?p=16262 Thats El Toro. It's a new type of wooden coaster that rides just like a steel coaster because it's track is prefabricated. Words don't describe the ride it gives. (You can see Top Thrill Dragsters 30 foot taller cousin "Kingda Ka" on the left)
  5. Wow, watching this team is certainly something else... I genuinely feel bad for them. Schlitter just hit Carlos Gomez on the helmet. I was actually a little surprised that Cub fans applauded when he got up.
  6. Carlos Santana just got trucked blocking home plate and it looks eh notsomuch.
  7. They got to Peavy going down and Hudson making his start against KC. They flashed back to when he didn't make the cut in Spring Training and Coop telling him that he's their guy if anything should happen to anyone.
  8. Calista Flockhart, Alexei Ramirez...
  9. I'm not at all upset that Hudson and someone I've never heard of who throws 86 netted Jackson. I trust our guys to make good decisions when it comes to pitching. The only way I'd be happy to get Dunn is with guys like Morel, Flowers, Jordan Danks, etc. That's the most I'd be willing to give for a 2 month rental. No deal? Have fun only being relevant if/when Strasburg throws for the next few years.
  10. He did also point out that this isn't the first time the Cubs pitching staff has helped a struggling team out. What a demoralizing half inning...
  11. Wow, Marshall and Cashner team up for 10 earned runs in the bottom of the 8th. All but one of the Rockies have scored a run in this inning. Yikes. *edit* 2 more via Schlitter, and all of this coming with 2 outs.
  12. Could it be one of the Angels guys referenced in the other thread?
  13. "Shock the world" has me worrying if anyone (other than Hudson) from our everyday lineup is involved...
  14. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 10:42 AM) My favorite part of the game last night was the bottom of the 1st when Span tried to dump one of those bulls*** shank jobs into short left field. All of the Twins fans started cheering because it was a blueprint of the kind of hits that have killed the sox in the Dome for year. Of course Pierre used his speed to run it down and completely shocked the fans and the players of the home team. A highlight of mine as well.
  15. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 08:15 PM) I do love and hate AJ, I dont think he is back next season anyways unless he is willing to take a huge reduction in playing time. Because of whom?
  16. It seems like so long ago that I was siked for the Sox offensive half of the inning.
  17. QUOTE (Real @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 08:12 PM) We don't need a f***ing bat. We need about 5 of them. and an ice cream truck so we could sell all of our threets to children
  18. threets v. wilson. thats like 2 treats at once on my tv screen. am i at baskin robbins?
