His 2008 was one of the most exciting individual performances I can remember. I have fond memories of taking a few Cub fans to their first game at the Cell and watching him personally hand John Lackey an L. After the 2007 s***-show, it was just what the fan-base needed. Good luck to him, bummer that it ends like this.

It's far too early to conclude anything, but with one "month" down, it's really damn hard to watch the "baseball" this team plays.

Nothing against Rongey, and glad for him that he gets to put some PBP on his resume, but it feels like Farmio has been gone for much longer than the handful of games it really is. Hope he's back soon.

Wow, that sucks. I remember being in a hurry to get somewhere and I had the Score on in the car- he was doing his Big Doug bit on Mully & Hanley (555-5555). I ended up making it in time but staying until his segment was done. RIP

Hearing things on a postgame show to the tune of "Fire Q if they don't win the cup this year" after splitting the first two road games in the first round of the playoffs- is this a normal thing?

I don't have a problem with Gillaspie + Beckham backing him up if need be. I'd like to see Flowers cede more time to Soto (I think that will take care of itself sooner rather than later).
