I wouldn't be opposed to it, just not sure what it would accomplish. I really don't like the red sox though.

The last and only time I've been to a doubleheader was the first Sox game I went to, a scheduled straight doubleheader v. Texas. Am I correct in assuming that I can take my tix for today's game and stay for the second?

I think the best way for Davey Ballgame to go away is for someone to get him to say something that irks enough people. When you consider that he likes talking just to hear himself talk, and that he's pretty stupid, it's hard to believe that this hasn't happened yet. David Price has the right idea. At least the other HR-hitting Clown from their '04 team did funny things like cutting off throws at inopportune times, or high-fiving fans before doubling up the runner at first.

I can't think of a fan base more fickle than blackhawk fans (and maybe this is true for the NHL in general, but I don't know that). The swing in mood from a win to a loss is unbelievable. Listening to this postgame show, I'm worried that there are actually people on the ledge of a building somewhere getting ready to jump. The same people will be looking forward to stanley cup ticket pre-sales if they win the next one.

Great to see Konerko yarding. Since nothing will change the fact that Abreu is out for the next few weeks, the one thing I'll hold on to when attending a game in that time span is seeing what may end up being the last time Paulie sees some regular at bats.
