  1. Well this is not what I expected but i'll take it; i'll check back in at the end of the series and see if it looks like similar to the opening series against the halos.
  2. The return feels right even if it brings in a second highly touted catcher; now move off Robert.
  3. Nice layout; i'll join you. Exchange: SP Garrett Crochet & RP Tanner Banks to BOS for SS/3B Marcelo Mayer, 2B/OF Kristian Campbell, & RHP Luis Perales Rationale: Bo Sox need a TOR arm beyond this year and their relief pitching is middle of the pack Banks would serve them well. Sox Get a top 10 prospect in Mayer that should stick at SS but could move off to 3B or over to 2B, a break out prospect in Campbell that can play 2B or CF and an arm that is recovering from TJ but has elite stuff. Exchange: CF Luis Robert & RP Michael Kopech to PHI for SS/3B Aiden Miler, OF Justin Crawford, & RHP Mick Abel Rationale: Dombrowski cement his plaque for the HoF and does what he's always done and lands the big fish. Sox get more top up the middle prospects as well as an arm that could use a change of scenery in Abel. Exchange: SP Erick Fedde & OF Tommy Pham to CLE for OF Jaison Chourio 1B Ralphy Velazquez & RHP Andrew Walters Raitonale: Cleveland gets their cost effective starter for this year and next as well as another opition for their OF in Pham. Sox Get solid value for a nice offseason signing in Fedde and two back half top 100 prospects for him and an intriguing arm for Pham in Walters. Exchange: UT Paul Dejong to NYY for SP Henry Lalane. Raitonale: New York has been linked to Dejong its a thin market and the sox get a tall athletic LH SP to work within their system.
  4. If things break right for Brooks, I think the sox are looking at a Tommy Edman like player. Which would be an awesome get for this franchise from the 12th round. A compitent bat with average to slightly above average defense you can plug anywhere on the diamond good for 2-3 fWAR a year on average with break out potential.
  5. Baseball Prospect Journal has us taking Seth Hernandez, RHP, Corona (Calif.) HS .
  6. Thats how I felt, 3/4 slot lefty in this system, yes please.
  7. Agreed he can spend the remainder of this year and the next 2 in AAA and still be on schedule, hes facing his toughest assignment since since his first brief stint at AA. Give him time, this franchaise has plenty of that currently.
  8. I think because of his performance and contract he brings back two back half top 100 (75 onward) or 45+FV value prospects. I personally think he winds up in Cleveland for Jaison Chourio and Ralphy Velazquez
  9. I think he winds up in Seattle or Philly. I think its full blown firesale at the deadline Robert, Crochet, Fedde. Pham, and Dejong will bring back lotto tickets.
  10. Hes 22 for all of this year could spend all of this season and the next two at AAA and still be "on track" hitting is hard and power is often the last tool to develop. His strike out rate will normalize just like it did in AA; give the kid some time we're in no rush to start the clock and we're quite a ways away from competing.
  11. I think if he continues this trend we could see two prospects coming back for him in the back half of the 100 (80+ range) between this year and next by the time he's traded he'll be owed 11.5m roughly; fits the budget for a lot of small market contenders like Milwaukee and Cleveland. Would love to see the Sox grab the likes of Jaison Chourio or Ralphy Velazquez from Cleveland for him.

  13. Eder is #62 on FG's top 100 https://blogs.fangraphs.com/2023-top-100-prospects/ link to his 10k game
  14. Hopefully, ship him to Houston as well for Luis Baez
  15. legit blown away that the sox actually get to take advantge of a seller's market. In years past sox would have to eat money and be happy to get the relief prospect alone. This year they get the #9 prospect in a stacked dodger system with #4 potential along with a really good looking relief arm and a warm body, all the while not having to ship any money.
  16. its one of many things to consider but yeah it leaves a fair amount to desire; having said that I think Hahn did very well addressing needs, getting a blue chip top 50 prospect that switch hits and is a catcher along with a LHP. I hate that the window is closed but this is a good first step even if I despise this FO and ownership. Burn it all down Cease, Burger, Anderson, Bummer, Kelly, Grandal, Graverman, Lynn. Possibly even Robert, lets go!
  17. Sox get a top 10 catching prospect and their 2B while they continue to develop Sosa., Yankees get a longer time window on a promising arm and interesting reserve bat to back up Rizzo and Donaldson while clearning 2B for DJ LeMahieu.
  18. There coverage has been s%*# since Kiley left again. Always contrarian.
  19. Sox have the prospects for this move surprsingly and should make it if hes available.
  20. White Sox Get Reynolds Pirates Get Montgomery, Crochet, and Ramos or Rodriguez
  21. Remove TLR, Shake up the organization if JR won't sell and re-tool like the '06 red sox and look toward '24. QO Abreu Trade Anderson, Hendriks, Giolito, and Moncada pre-season. Move what you can of the relief core and sink or swim players mid-season. Wait on Colson Montgomery and Colas and the next wave of Ramos and J-rod as well. I think that moving through the above brings back some solid talent. I could see the Angels going for one last Hurrah before they dismantle and sell bringing in Anderson and trading O'Hoppe Post trade deadline 2023 line up DH - Jimenez (our very own Jose Guillen, love the talent can't stay healthy and should not be in the OF, until he shows he is healthy he won't be moved) C - Grandal# (with his injury isues he isn't getting moved this off-season, but if he is healthy and hot he could get moved by the ASB) 1B - Vaughn (lock him up long term and leave him be at 1B) 2B - Mendick (hopefully he can continue to break out he showed before getting hurt) SS - Sosa (potential move to 2B if danny is more of a bench player, or he is a place holder for Colson, or Colson moves to 3B, if Lenyn delivers on his potential). 3B - Burger (given the opportunity to show what he can do while the franchise waits on Colson and Ramos) LF - Sheets* (half as bad as Vaughn in the outfield, maybe some of his second half breakout is real .342/.350/.553; the BABIP is unstainable but his low BB% should revert) CF - Robert (if he stays healthy hes MVP caliber, if our hall of fame baseball guy wouldn't send up to the dish with the ability to swing with one arm, he'd be in a better position) RF - Colas* (if this organization actually believed in itself he would already be up here as a shot in the arm but with our odds falling to 13% they'd rather save the opition).
