  1. QUOTE(whitesoxin @ May 14, 2006 -> 07:56 PM) I fully realize that. Now you have to take a step back and realize that people can change and not carry stereotypes, or "reputations" as you call it. The cliques that have been formed on soxtalk are quite discouraging. f***ing Jim Thome why can't you hit a home run when somebody is on base? Ahh you should be asking why can't anyone get on base for Thome.
  2. QUOTE(whitesoxin @ May 14, 2006 -> 07:40 PM) Uribe with a hit?! No it's OOOOREBAY f***in dumbass announcers ... :headshake
  3. I laughed my ass off hearing Dj not knowing what to say and then Hawk coming from nowhere, "JOEEEEE CREDEEDEDEDE!!!!!"

    Look at crazy Sandy Alomar ... I thought for sure he'd call it quits after he left us.
  5. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 04:51 PM) the guy behind me at the park said it, and I cursed him out for about 2 min.....Then he hit it. Yea ... I mean it was the perfect setting. I just felt the spirit and sure enough, lol.
  6. QUOTE(DABearSoX @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 04:33 PM) dozens?
  7. I think Pods is remembered better because no one would have said. "Watch Pods is going to homer." I and I'm sure hundreds others said, "I'll bet you Konerko grandslams right here."
  8. I couldn't resist throwing Timo in here ... and I'm sure one of these are Tada's rookie card in Japan.
  9. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 28, 2006 -> 10:51 PM) The Giants traded him for Steve Finley in a swap of bad deals on old guys.
  10. QUOTE(rventura23 @ Apr 28, 2006 -> 10:48 PM) I laughed pretty hard, Ive never heard that Me eithier, I'm going to have to write that down and save for another day.
  11. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 28, 2006 -> 09:01 PM) AJ looks the same, basically. More buff looking there ... well then again he is younger so yeah ...
  12. QUOTE(The Critic @ Apr 28, 2006 -> 08:33 PM) I think the lesson here is: Everyone looks stupid when they're young. HEAR THAT, young posters???? Amen ... those cards put a smile on my face.
  13. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Apr 28, 2006 -> 03:49 PM) Craziest s*** I've heard today... I'm going to have to say craziest s*** I've heard this month... that made me laugh.
  14. That article above made me crack up, good read.
  15. You can tell when they first were put together Hawk really would jump on his ass, then Dj would sorta fight back hence the nickname "Fiesty... I think over the years they have really come together and I really doubt Hawk dislikes DJ and the same around. As hawk says, " I love when you ...(fill in anything referring to DJ)"
  16. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 01:46 PM) Nope, that's not it, I don't think. It was much closer to gametime. And what I saw wasn't Buehrle wave, it was lower his head slightly while jogging and spreading his arms out in front of him then looking up and laughing. hmmm....
  17. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 21, 2006 -> 09:24 PM) Am I the only one who caught Buehrle jogging before the game to warm-up and stretching his arms out with a huge silly grin, making a mock-sliding motion? You talking about when he was leaving the dugout to throw some balls with Man soo lee? If you are he was just waving to the crowd.
  18. Yeah I think for the most part these guys made some crappy decisions.
  19. That was one of the best parts of the night, going to talk to Kyle Orton and get his autograph, cool guy.
  20. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the trade go down after he just homered in a game against the Cubs? I pictured he wasn't a happy camper returning to the dugout with those news.
