  1. The question is still out on Kopech imo. I hope he breaks out this year.
  2. I’m not anti Moncada, I think he’s a very good player at a difficult position. But I remember when he was traded for everyone was raving how he was going to be a .300 hitter with 30 plus homeruns. I don’t anticipate he ever hits those numbers.
  3. The problem with Moncada is he was traded for an all star top of the rotation arm at the time. Anyone coming back was going to have lofty expectations. I think we were expecting a MVP caliber in return. If he settles into what he did last year for the next 3-5 years he’ll be a super valuable asset to this team, just not quite what we were wishing. Kopech is the wild card.
  4. They’re going to try and skate by til June/July with what they got. MAYBE make a move at the deadline. They’re one major injury away from the rotation being complete shit.
  5. Would you rather have a potent offense and shit rotation or a stellar rotation and poor offense. Discuss.
  6. Que? There’s a big difference between stroking your shaft at home vs. in your car at a public parking lot. He obviously gets off on doing it in public or “getting caught”. I dont wanna speculate on who he was jerkin it too.
  7. I’m a little late to this thread of hilarity, but these two comments were fucking ?????
  8. After the stupid ass lockout, botched off-season, and early injuries… am I the only one exhausted already going into the season?
  9. For real FTP (fuck the padres/packers), but I’m not surprised. The fact that his name had been mentioned/linked to the Sox for awhile shows the complete failure on this front office, AGAIN.
  10. I blame it on the McDonald’s he bought everyone during the lockout negotiations
  11. So Lynn’s leg/knee is getting amputated and Grandal is still useless behind home plate. What a great day.
  12. I’ve always been of the mindset that Leury is good in small doses. His versatility is a positive for a contending team, although I think he is putrid in the OF. I would of rather let him walk and see what someone like Romy can do in the role and UPGRADE at second.
  13. As much as TLR loves Leury, I’ll take the bet that Harrison starts more games at 2nd than Leury. Leury might play more games overall in the season much to fans chagrin.
  14. I wouldn’t be surprised if Phil Rogers calls a home run a touch down.
  15. I’m sticking to D. still don’t like the allocation of money to the bullpen, the bum pitcher is going to be a waste of 3 mil when he’s DFA, Harrison isn’t an upgrade, and although I joke around about Leury, they have a utility player a pretty decent contract and TLR can’t help himself and will run him out there everyday. I am glad they got rid of Kimbrel and addressed the OF depth, but they still have holes at backup catcher and SP.
