  1. They paid way too much for Soriano and they needed to resign Zambrano who is by far their best player. Derek Lee is good but pitching wins championships as you saw with the WhiteSox last year and the Cardinals this year unlike cough New York Yankees cough...
  2. lol, The guy is probably 34 years old and they signed him for 8 years... I dont care, im a Cards fan AND WE ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!! QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Nov 19, 2006 -> 03:36 PM) The Tribune won't own the team those final couple of years, so they couldn't care less. I heard Trump wants to buy the Cubs and build a new stadium close to downtown. I wonder what the sheep would do then. Mark Cuban wants to buy them...
  3. He was third all time I believe in pitching streaks next to Roy something and Roger Clemens
  4. The AL was flat out lucky, thats all I gotta say.
  5. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 08:21 PM) Woke up as Patrick Duffy. Found I had a craving for potato soup. Some asshole had issues with that. Pretty crappy day, after all. And the Bennigan's staff is usually so pleasant. why its supposed to be what you did today thread so everyday no matter when you can post what you did today here It should have alot of posts..
  6. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 10, 2006 -> 10:10 PM) Well then Sammy was copying Griffey. thats true lol....
  7. Today woke up at 10, went to my dermatoligist appointment, came home, checked the net and watched the Bulls Summer League game on Orlando.com where my man Tyrus Sucked! The rest of the day is a toss up and right now im watching Around the Horn.
  8. Well, he just belched a homerun with 2 outs in the 9th inning.
  9. Well woke up at 11 mowed the lawn, went swimming at my aunts, came back home and going to watch a movie pretty soon.... Discuss what you did today here......
  10. Yes he is on pace to return DURING this series against you guys, when he returns the Sox will get killed
  11. QUOTE(The Critic @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 04:39 PM) Sad thing is, tomorrow is their best chance to win, with Carlos Marmol, a kid with (I think) 2 career starts, on the mound. What a pathetic team that is, and yet they won't fire their lame-duck, sleeping poor excuse for a manager. They get what they deserve as long as they keep Baker around. He's lost control of (and interest in) that team. Carlos Marmol will be better than any Sox pitcher in a couple of years you can bet on that. I HATE the Cubs because Im a Die Hard Cardinals fan but Marmol is my favorite pitcher in the league because he has a cannon for an arm and is so poise and has a great curveball with an upper 90's fastball. Carlos Marmol will be the Rookie-Of the-Year.
  12. I would sit out Konerko and play Thome. Thome is having a great year so far and you cant take him out of his rythm. You cant play both and IMO I would rather play Thome during the Interleague stint. Whats your take on this?
  13. he did.. hes ejected now and Of course fat ass Dusty Baker wants to argue.
  14. I cant stand barret.. Posednik Beat the s*** out of him... Barret thinks hes gods greatest gift of everything and got the s*** knocked out of him.. LMAO Now the Sox have all the momentum
  15. QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 12, 2006 -> 09:11 PM) I think you'll need Photoshop to update it, FWIW. Oic, nvm then
  16. QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 12, 2006 -> 08:57 PM) Cleveland becaue they are IMO the 2nd best team in the divison even though their pitching looks pathetic right now and Detroit is doing everything well. Cleveland's offense is still incredibly scary and they probably have the best hitter in the AL Central with the exception of Jim Thome perhaps. Kalapse may I ask how you get that as ur sig? I want a Pujols one like that. If you know how to make one could you PLZ make me a Pujols one?
  17. Twins? Clevland? Detroit? Kansas City? Who ya got? and why?
  18. QUOTE(Cali @ Apr 29, 2006 -> 03:23 PM) Even with being World Champs I doubt the Sox are gonna have any starters voted on.....again But that's not to say there won't be plenty of White Sox on the team. I hope I'm wroing and have to eat my words, but I just don't see it. The Sox are like the Detroit Pistons of Baseball because they dont have one "Superstar" on there team. And keep your heads up because almost every single one of the whitesox starters deserves to be in the Allstar Game but you know as well as I do that its a popularity contest. Atleast my man Albert Pujols is leading the majors in HR's and RBI's. I hope he is MVP again and goes down as the greatest ever!
