  1. No,No, No!!! I am teh biggest Beatles fan in South Carolina...have benn for quite some time. I'd have to say that either the first disc of the White Album, or Revolver is my favorite Beatles album. If ya'll are gonna do a Top 10 list, that'd be nice...I can do that I think.
  2. Might I add, here off-topic...my USC boys got whooped yesterday, I was not happy at all.....But alas, life goes on. And so you know, UGa is THAT good, believe it.
  3. Who 'da thought after Operation Free Pass friday night that we woulda looked so good pitching in the final 2 games of the series? Heres to hoping that Danny Wright's turn in the rotation gets skipped.
  4. I'm pretty sure its safe to say that we all root for all the guys in Sox unis. I personally have been a non-Colon fan for quite some time, but it is noce to see him getting it done right now. We have had quite a few boneheads in Sox unis, and although we rooted for them based on their team affiliation, its safe to say that ALL of us have certain "players" that we are not fans of. I think NOlivo is about as effective as Mark Johnson at the plate, but I still support him because of that Sox emblem. Right now, I'd have to say that Jonny G. could be the true unsung hero. He has had quite a string of quality starts, and that coming out of the #4 spot is invaluable. Now if only we could find the elusive #5.....
  5. Name: Tommy Gunn Position: HB Height: 6'0" Weight: 180 Number: 12 Specialty: Quickness
  6. 488 actually...but even still...Good Christ, has Illinois ever seen what the rest of the nation calls a "Defensive Coordinator"? Thats pathetic...The D.C. shoulda been fired on the spot for that performance.
  7. Hmm, Stewart...thats...what ..I put there....I didn't edit my post....
  8. We already have a 4-man rotation if ya think about it.....4 men: Loaiza, Buehrle, Colon and Garland...then we have a 4-man #5 starter...Wright, Cotts, Porzio and Stewart.
  9. GO BRADLEY!!! Ohhhhhh, that's right!!! Bradley doesn't even HAVE a football team!!! Apparently, after seeing the stats from the Illinois-Illinois St. game, Illinois State doesnt have much of a football team either!!!
  10. I am completely underwhelmed at this performance...>WOW!!! Great job, pitching staff...I guess we figured that since Boston has the best offense in the league, the best way to minimize their hitting damage is to just not let them hit, give them the base on balls, and concede the runner. What the f***...A.L. Central Title, is there anyone out here that actually wants it? Step right up, its yours for the taking!!!
  11. I can't tell you how happy I am to have Armando Rios on the team. The guy is a player....great addition to the team. And I mean that in the most sarcastically possible way.
  12. We are now on our 5th pitcher, whom is our closer....now we'll get to see if Colon is the "Ace" so many people claim he is tomorrow. We will be short handed in the Pen, and on a 3 game losing streak. Me, I already think he'll fail, and I hope he can prove me wrong.
  13. That Everett at-bat was pretty craptacular.
  14. We're really crushing the ball tonight, I tell ya what!!!
  15. I'll live up to my nickname here, and let you all in on a little secret: You can't win a game when you walk 12 f***ing batters in 5+ IP. Jesus Christ, the whole bullpen is gonna be used tonight, and we have to Hope and Prey that Colon and Buehrle can pitch well, without bullpen help.
  16. Jesus..I leave to go do some work, come back and the Walk-a-thon continues...WTF? Koch getting in on it, that doesn't make me happy. This is a piss-poor performance, I must say. We depend so much on our pitching right now to be streak stoppers, its sad.
  17. Chalk that up as another wasted opportunity for the ChiSox
  18. Yeah...lets get 3 here, and my boy Koch can get the win!!! Well, that'd be nice, anyways.
  19. Oh f*** Yeah!!!!! STOP!!!! BILLY TIME!!!!
  20. Damn dink and dunk hits.....as Hawk says, "Use some of that meal money next time."
  21. Hmmm...is that what we now call the "Keith Foulke Syndrome"? A dominant closer, one of the best, wants to try his hand at the starting rotation.
  22. Hell yes....just saw my boy in the Bullpen......not that Schoen hasn't done a damn fine job filling in for Danny Wrong, but... soon it will be... STOP!!!! BILLY TIME!!!!
  23. WARNING!!! WARNING!!!! The Sox hitters, down by 3 runs, will now be switching over to their HR swings, as some of them feel it is easier to hit back-to-back-to-back homers to tie it, than play smallball.
  24. Schoen comes in and does a Helluva job, sans dips*** JosE6's error. Final numbers on Danny Wrong: IP H R ER BB K HR Season ERA D. Wright 1.0 2 4 4 5 1 0 5.79 50 pitches, 24 for strikes YEAH!!
