  1. When is Miguel Olivo NOT an easy K...thats the question...automatic out Olivo
  2. We always have tons of trouble with Einar Diaz also...one of those Sox killers

  4. For every 1 Rich Harden, there are 3 Nate Cornejo, Gary Knotts, and Scot Shields...thats the problem
  5. Clu...heres the BIG question....have we EVER faced him before??? If not, I'm already feeling sick
  6. Frank at 1st isn't gonna hurt this team in defense...it can only help him on offense...I have no problems with it...now, if we could only get JM to realize that AaRow is the best CFer we have, put Everett at DH...let PK have a day or 2 off.
  7. 8-14-03: After this s***ass performance against a relief pitcher, this thread MUST come bak now!! 1 run in 2 games total, against the Angels AAA team...f***ing pathetic
  8. Tonight we are 2 for 20, with 5 K's so far......... :puke actually, Garland hasn't pitched a bad game here, but the assclowns with the bats haven't done a damn thing....corpseball at its best, folks.
  9. I agreed...from hitters #5 down, all should be sacrificing 'cept for Crede, I actually think he may get a hit when he is up there!!
  10. Blah....this game is hard to watch...last night and so far tonight its been a return of the corpseball offense to the extreme...making Scot Shields look unhittable..good thing KC wasn't playing tonight...it would be 2.5 out afterwards.
  11. From Daubach down in the order, the only one I actually think may get a hit is Crede...Olivo BLOWS as a hitter...and Val is our $5 million f***up...so if #1-5 hitters don't do it, we better be sacrificing. And it appears that Judy Garland is back after a small hiatus for about 5-6 starts.
  12. That guy, Olivo, should be on the bench before Crede ever should...he is LOST at the plate
  13. Unfortunately, they are as streaky as they come....and Crede cancels the postgame show with that single
  14. Hmmm...by slump, you mean a 1 game slump? Before last night, we had put up 18 runs in the previous 2 games....small ball wouldnt hurt, though IMO
  15. Might be our opportunity to see 1 Jon relieve for the other in this game. Nice to see that Judy G. isreally going after the hitters here aggresively!!
  16. Way to swing the bat there guys...especially Daubach...oh, uh...he didn't swing the whole time...Shields will make quick work of this one if someone doesnt remove the bat from their shoulders
  17. Does anyone have video, who's not watching on TV? None of the games are working on MLB.com today. Pisses me of. I'm therer with ya.....mlb.tv letting me down
  18. Problem is, he nary a clue as to how to play centerfield. And he NEVER throws the ball into the right base. But as a hitter, I like Carl. "Hitting the ball, Everett hit very much....fielding....glove is afraid."
  19. WHOA!!! I bet Sandy is gonna have a hard time making those diving stops...those knees ain't what they used to be for ole' Sandy!!! :fthecubs
  20. Problem is, right now....we have too many solid to good bats and we can't fit them all in the lineup. AS bad as it sounds, and Roman if you are reading, I am a huge Frank fan, but he may need a few games on the bench. He changes his stance, resulting in some great hitting, then he will go right back to what he was doing. When Frank is off, he pops EVERYTHING up to the right side of the field. Let Frank have a few days off, let CLee play LF, ARow in CF, and Carl at DH...PK doesn't deserve to not play right now. He always has hit into alot of DPs, but its magnified this year because he hit into so many while he was way off.
  21. Dude, it has NEVER been like this anytime I can remember...last summer, we couldnt buy a rainstorm..everything was dying produce wise. This year, we are WAY over our average rainfall....go figure...I would hope you werent too impressed by the Carolinas, I'm sure as hell not. I tell most people I talk to about this state that we are about 50 years behind the rest of the country in everything...very irritating.
  22. Judging by minorleaguebaseball.com, Jason, he was up just yesterday...nice catch on that one.
  23. And ...of course...The Deacon, Warren Newsome!!!!
