  1. Thats why you don't trade Crede...the kid is gonna be alright
  2. Ah, the magical swing of Paul konerko
  3. Everett shouldn't even try to hit from the right side...he is under everything..again, echoing my sentiments that Rowand should be in CF tonight.
  4. One of these teams can play smallball better than the other....can you guess which one?
  5. Dunn had pretty good numbers, but I think he was 26, and still in AA...hasn't been with us too long.
  6. Nickles numbers not too bad in AAA: Nickle, Doug -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pacific Coast League » Salt Lake Stingers 04/04 to 07/27 W L SV ERA G IP H R ER BB KO HR 2 2 4 1.48 34 48.2 40 8 8 18 23 1
  7. Pauly has some triple speed, though I was just thinking that myself, who picks Konerko for the cycle?
  8. Hmm, I'd have mixed feelings on this one...why would it take GLover AND 2 others to get Schoneweis? And Glover was just starting to look like a real pitcher....hmmm
  9. Jesus, I really think that Jerry doesnt know how to read scouting reports, so he just plays whoever.
  10. My sentiments exactly...the guy is probably wondering what he has to do to get some playing time,

Mayne c 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 .252 Hey, whattya know...Rowand has another good game, then he's back on the bench so that Everett who hits switch whenever he wants to can play...JM, you're a f***ing moron.
  12. BOOOOO, HISSSS!!! No,no,no....Lou said at his press conference this week that "Retirement is not on the agenda"...he really wants to win something important before he leaves the team to Skip. Now, as for Summers, he is already qualified, and in Columbia working out voluntarily. The kid is for real...1st step is the one that gives him the edge....hell, college football gets me happy...my season tickets will arrive next week while I'm in Chicago for the Royals series...I'll be happy to see those when I get back.
  13. Interesting little fact...we have the guy that broke Emmitt Smiths HS records coming in with Demetris Summers, and the guy that broke all of Herschel Walkers State rushing records in Daccus Truman as our fullback...and Skip has been given FULL control of the offense, Lou is only coaching the DBs...I look for pretty good things this year, but I honestly think that 2004 is gonna be the best shot for this team...we are REAL young...and Summers shouldn't be expected to be All-SEC right away, he won't even be the starter.
  14. That stupid f***ing rock...man, I tell ya...that is one of the most moronic "traditions" in football, and Clemson fans honestly believe its the "Most exciting 25 seconds in college football" just stupid.
  15. Yeah, with Borchard I'm with ya...but Rauch..the whole shoulder surgery would put anyone behind schedule, and Munoz got COMPLETELY worn out last year...reg. minor league season, Arizona Fall League, and Winter Leagues were too much to put on his arm
  16. I didn't know either of those two went to USC. It's a shame to see Marcus Robinson have such an awesome year, get hurt the next year, and not be the same. I hope he does well this year for Baltimore. Pritchett will ALWAYS be remembered in USC circles as the running back that went over the top against UGa in 93 or 94, with no time on the clock to win the game in Athens....
  17. Well, Darren Hambrick and his oft-troubled brother Troy Hambrick at Dallas went to USC, but Troy got kicked off the team before his senior season. f*** Clemson, BTW
  18. It doesnt hurt that they have 2 of my USC boys in Kalimba Edwards and Andre Goodman...I keep up with the Lions concerning those 2 guys. The only other gamecock in the pros that I can think of is John Abraham. Did that RB Derrick Watson (think that's his name) ever come close to the pros? Spiff, Spiff, Spiff....how wrong you are...BTW, Derek just got cut by New England last week, someone should give the kid a shot, he has the talent. South Carolina John Abraham Defensive End New York Jets Brandon Bennett Running Back Cincinnati Bengals Sheldon Brown Cornerback Philadelphia Eagles Cecil Caldwell Defensive Tackle Cleveland Browns Terry Cousin Cornerback Carolina Panthers Kalimba Edwards Defensive End Detroit Lions Arturo Freeman Safety Miami Dolphins Andre' Goodman Cornerback Detroit Lions Ray Green Cornerback New York Giants Kerry Hood Wide Receiver Jacksonville Jaguars Kevin House Cornerback San Diego Chargers Corey Jenkins Linebacker Miami Dolphins Langston Moore Defensive Tackle Cincinnati Bengals Jamar Nesbit Offensive Guard Jacksonville Jaguars Willie Offord Safety Minnesota Vikings Andrew Pinnock Running Back San Diego Chargers Stanley Pritchett Running Back Chicago Bears Marcus Robinson Wide Receiver Baltimore Ravens Duce Staley Running Back Philadelphia Eagles John Stamper Defensive End Chicago Bears Anthony Wright Quarterback Baltimore Ravens
  19. Seems to fit right in with our organizational luck in the minors...I'm still waiting on "The Next Big Thing" Joe Borchard to learn how not to be Rob Deer at the plate.
  20. I'll take the left up in the rotation, I've already seen what Wright can do, and can't do...don't need to see him IN Seattle, 1st start back up, it could be REAL bad.
  21. What is Southern Cal?? I only know of USC, University of South Carolina,...as the hats say around here, THE USC
  22. AFAIK, Sound files in mp3 form are pretty much compressed down as much as you can, whereas .wav files are huge...but i'm no expert
  23. It doesnt hurt that they have 2 of my USC boys in Kalimba Edwards and Andre Goodman...I keep up with the Lions concerning those 2 guys.
  24. And, my personal favorite thing...you MUST go to Barbary Coast from 4-6 and see Big Elvis, if he is there while you are...I think he is there on Thursdays...the guy is HUGE, but he can sing...grab a Javanilla at the Seattles Best in the Barbary while you are there...drink one for me, I keep them in business while I'm there.
