  1. Not as long as Frank is on the White Sox roster.
  2. Hmm, ok lemme do this.... There is now way in HELL that Everett can get a hit against Escobar right now..he is just dealing, and our hitters won't be able to touch him after the delay.
  3. Most definately...he can DH for 4-5 years more if necessary...and that being the case..he could reach 800..thats amazing.
  4. This can only work in our favor....making Escobar wait to pitch...the way he was going, thats a good thing.
  5. Man, that was some funny stuff.....DJ was all over Toronto and the fans.....broke out the word nimrod.
  6. DJ is straight clowning Toronto and their fans.... DJ: "Oh, they better put the tarp on the field...oh wait, they don't have one...they're in a dome.....what a bunch of nimrods!!" s***, thats funny!!!
  7. Agreed, he has shown flashes of talent before, but all year at home he has been BAD...to put it nicely.
  8. If this team gets shutout by Kelvim Escobar, I'll be EXTREMELY underwhelmed at the performance. The guy has had an awful WHIP all year, and at home is is atrocious.
  9. The thing is, Escobar has been DREADFUL at home this year....an ERA over 7...and yet, against us, he's a different pitcher so far.
  10. NOw come on, Jason...you know that I know what state Myrtle Beach is in...not in North Carolina.
  11. Oh really, what part...and don't say Myrtle Beach.
  12. well, we are just now geting a set lineup from JM, so I don't wanna say too much, although yeah, Dauby shoulda started against the righty.
  13. Helluva play by Garland there...I like Johnny now a days...hes putting forth a great effort.
  14. Its like we were discussing earlier Flash Tizzle, the SkyDome gun is off to the high end...it had Koch at 95 last night, and I don't think that was right.
  15. OHMYGOD!!! with the exception of Olivo for Alomar Jr, thats the same lineup 2 games in a row!!! Lets start a consecutive says with the same lineup streak!!
  16. Charlotte IP H R ER BB SO HR B.Cooper (W 10-8) 7.2 6 0 0 1 5 0 K.Wunsch 0.2 0 0 0 0 2 0 M.Ginter (S 12) 0.2 0 0 0 0 1 0 Cooper pitched pretty well last night, as did Kelly and Ginter has been pretty good all year.
  17. This would be from South Carolina to Chicago, by myself...I'm gonna need to know where I should stay, who from the boards is gonna be around, what the hell do I do between games(where do I eat, and who is gonna go with me)....So any help you can provide, it will be appreciated. EDIT...DAMNIT...I meant 4th-6th
  18. Good catch, Heads....I just saw what you are talking about....ahh, those ESPN codewriters.
  19. Hmmm, so whats the minor league talent experts opinion on what we gave up?
  20. I have approximately 0% faith in David Sanders getting guys out as a situational lefty. Quite honestly, he'll be the next guy to be back in AAA when Wunsch comes back.
  21. I noticed on your sig aboz, Buehrles Whip and BAA are way up this year...hopefully its on the downward curve after the horrendous start.
  22. Marte has a key role already...he is THE lefty out of the bullpen that we trust and go to the most. You make him the closer, then we have NO situational lefty to go to alte in the game.
  23. I'm not saying experiment with him...but if Gordon starts to falter...AND Koch has his problems worked out, then there is no question he should be the closer. Its not an experiment, its a FACT. The guy is a closer, and a damn fine one when everything is right. And then we would have, IMO, the BEST 2 setup men in the AL in Marte and Gordon.
  24. I won't rehash what I've said in EVERY Koch thread on here, but if Koch gets it all figured out, he should be the closer, thats what he was brought here to do. Gordon knew we already had a closer when he signed, and as for his feelings getting hurt and getting mad at Manuel if he loses his closer job.....you are kidding right? Boo hoo for him then, these guys are here to do a job, and right now Gordon is doing his, Koch isn't...so thats why we have people pitching in the current roles. Koch was hitting 95 last night, I have no reason to think that with more arm rest, he can hit his old 98-99 again.
  25. I agree Yasny...he had raised his average signifigantly(sp?) before he was benched for Everett...and gives his all for every ball hit to him.
