  1. Yeah, I was just assuming that 2 IP was gonna be all for White, thats all we really should be asking him to go anyways.
  2. Excellent job by White...he may be getting it together at the right time, and they can let Wright go to the bullpen, see what Baltimore wants for Ponson...3 K's for White in 2 IP
  3. Top of 5th, Rick White in Koskie K's Hunter single(wicked hop away from Crede) Morneau Flyout Mohr K's
  4. I'd rather see White in there these days....he's been pretty solid, hopefully its gonna stay that way. Danny is pitching his way out of the rotation
  5. It's what he does, he is so good at it
  6. Wright cant seem to get ahead of anyone...his age old problem
  7. Lets hope we can just make Lohse throw lots of pitches,
  8. Well, when umps call one way...then the opposing Mgr comes out and they change their mind, you HAVE to go question and defend..it was right
  9. I agree....Ponson over Weaver ANYDAY!! I think Ponson, coupled with Buehrle, Garland, and Loaiza(we have the 2004 option correct?) are a damn strong top 4.
  10. Don't get to see post-game coverage in South Carolina...sorry. Whats best for the team, is best for all.
  11. We have to remember...there is an EXCELLENT chance that Alomar and Everett won't be around next year, so their long term "damage" to the clubhouse is minimal. I didn't want to lose Cotts, but no team is gonna give away a guy with switch-hitting power for someone like Blockhead Jimenez or Jon Rauch (who knows what his status is). I would rather have left Harris and Crash in CF, but since the move was made on good intentions for the team, I'm all for it.
  12. Seriously, EVerett has had no problems since Boston...even Mo said that Boston was a nightmare. Its amazing how we can dwell on the past concerning some players. KW is out making the moves necessary to make a run NOW, and people are upset that he is trading players that may very well NEVER see the big leagues. But when he doesnt do anything to improve the team, people b**** and moan about him standing pat......Sounds like Damned if he does, damned if he don't
  13. When we are either 5 games over .500, or in 1st place....the Corpseball comment will be gone from the siggy!! But the Office Space avatar will be there forever
  14. "Braves' starting pitcher Paul Byrd will undergo Tommy John surgery Tuesday and be sidelined at least 12 months, probably longer. This will be his second elbow surgery of the season. Byrd went under the knife back on April 11 to have a bone spur removed from the back of his right elbow." I know it seemed like KW and other Sox brass were looking at him, and I hate to see it happen, but we did the right thing on Byrd.
  15. This WOULD have been a great time for Glover to get a couple innings work in, and letting our mail guys get a rest....even Jerry can mess up a solid win
  16. Garland has looked pretty good actually. Only 2 hits allowed in 5 IP, both infield singles. The Twins announcers said that coming into this game, Garland over his last 8 games is 3-3, with a 3.38 ERA....He is getting his stuff together apparently, and that makes 3.5 good starters right now (Colon, he is hurting...needs an arm break)
  17. I'm in South Carolina, so I HAVE to use MLB.tv....its actually not too bad. I get to watch the Sox almost everyday.
  18. I LOVE IT!!! BEAT THE HELL out of the Twinkies
  19. WEll, when the outfielder goes over the wall to bring one back, its still an almost Homer, and its still an out, so we are both correct? And we will avoid a 5 page pissing contest!!!
  20. And shoulda been back to back, with Val, right? looked like Jose just missed YET AGAIN!!
  21. And SURPRISE....Rios K's on 3 pitches if I'm not mistaken...
